That day @jayceoner and I was shooting this famous lookout, then two kids came in and sat on the edge of this famous rock without any fear. They were having discussion and it's was so much fun to watch them completely involve in that scene (Nature, mountains and raising sun) . The interetering thing was their father was watching them from behind without any interruption.⁣⁣

Would you let your child to do this? ⁣⁣

Do you know? ⁣
This was actually a Ship 🛳️, That's been used during the Second World War, It would transport supplies to US troops in the Pacific.⁣
When the war ended it was renamed and became a collier on the “sixty miler” run transporting coal from Newcastle to Sydney.⁣
⁣
It came to Homebush Bay (current place) in 1972. Back then this was an industrial area, and a bit of a backwater not on the main channel of the Parramatta River, so it was a nice quiet place which no one called home to strip the vessels⁣

20th Jan 2026 ♾️A night I’ll never forget.
I can finally say I captured my dream aurora shot ✨

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I absolutely love storytelling through my photos and videos and this time was no different.

On 18th Jan 2026, there was a CME alert 🔔. It was massive, with fast-travelling solar wind.

Unfortunately, 2025 wasn’t our year, and because of the weird time zone we have here in Western Australia, we used to miss out a lot. New Zealand and Tasmania would get the best shows, while we would only get the cherry on top. Keeping all those past experiences in mind, I kept my expectations very low and headed towards Donnybrook, a town located 2.5 hours south of Perth, and camped for the night.

Oh boy… it was REAL good and super intense. 🔥
The only complaint I had was the breaks between the shows 😂 The first show was from 8pm to 10pm, then 12am to 2am, followed by 3am till dawn. I was able to capitalise on all three shows in the best way possible.

After the second show, I was really tired 😴 but fellow photographer Kiyoto kept sending me updates on Messenger and kept me awake by saying, “One more to go!” 😂😂

I captured a total of 3000 images. I can’t wait to create a timelapse but for now, enjoy these images.

RIP sir🕊️💔 Today, I lost one of the most beloved people from my childhood, Sri. Malineni Jaya Prakash, the Head and Principal of our school (Gowtham Model School)

He was much more than a principal to us. He was a wonderful teacher, mentor and a person who always encouraged us to become better versions of ourselves.

Some teachers teach from books, Some teach through their experiences axd some leave lessons in your heart that stay with you for a lifetime.

As I share these peaceful scenes of the wildflower country today, I dedicate them to his memory. 🌿🌼

Thank you, Sir, for everything you taught us and for the memories you gave us.

May you rest in peace. You will always be remembered with love and gratitude. 🤍

📷 Shot entirely on Fujifilm, straight out of camera.

3 DAYS GLAMPING AT SERENITY GULLY ⛺️ 🌿

I’ve been wanting to stay at Yira (Serenity Gully) for a while, so I finally packed my bags and headed down south for three days of slow living.

Day 1 started with rain, which honestly made the whole place feel even more cosy. I started the fire in the wood burning stove, cooked dinner and just enjoyed listening to the rain outside. A little later, the clouds cleared and gave me a beautiful night sky.

Day 2 was probably my favourite. I started the morning with a workout, spotted a few kangaroos right outside my tent, enjoyed the outdoor tub and then drove to Bridgetown, which is only about 15 minutes from Yira. Came back in the afternoon, did some reading in the sun and finished the evening roasting marshmallows by the fire.

On Day 3, I drove to Pemberton for a few hours and explored some of the surrounding spots before coming back to Yira.

That night, the sky finally cleared completely and I got to see the Milky Way. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Before leaving the next morning, I went for one last walk around the trails and took in the place one more time.

Three days of rain, fires, road trips, good food, starry nights and absolutely no rush.

Exactly the kind of break I needed.

Until next time, Yira. 🤍.

Welcome to Wildflower Country. 🌸

I went on a 900 km solo road trip through the wildflower countryside of Western Australia. a beautiful region made up of nine inland farming shires, north of Perth.

If you love minimalist landscapes, wide open roads, wildflowers and that feeling of being completely away from everything, this is definitely a road trip worth putting on your list.

No wonder WA is known as the Road Trip State. 🚙🌾

And if you really want to experience Wildflower Country at its best, the first two weeks of August are said to be the time to go. I wish I had done this trip last month when the wildflowers were at their peak.

Nevertheless, it was an absolutely amazing experience.

One thing I quickly learned: don’t rely on your phone network out there. 😂

I was using Telstra and for almost 400 km, there was barely any reception. Then, like a little oasis in the middle of nowhere, I came across a BP at Wubin offering free Wi-Fi. 😅

I’ve heard Optus has decent coverage in parts of Wildflower Country, but I can’t personally confirm that. And Starlink… I’ve never used it.

Maybe it’s time I look into that for the next road trip? 👀

Today was a reminder that the best shots sometimes come from taking the wrong turn 🚗 🐴📸

Started my day at 5 AM from Perth, heading towards Cunderdin Hill in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt.

The drive was peaceful, the weather was clear and sunny, and the everlasting flowers were putting on a beautiful little show. The only problem? The wind was absolutely relentless, making my job a little harder than expected. 😂

From there, I was heading towards York for a quick stop at a canola field (Petteet Park) before getting back to Perth for work in the afternoon. Somewhere along the way, I took the wrong turn.

Instead of turning back, I just kept going.

And honestly, I’m glad I did.

I ended up on a quiet country road surrounded by massive open farmland, where I came across horses grazing in the distance. The whole scene felt like something straight out of a Superman movie. 🐎🌾

Eventually, I made it towards York, only to discover that the canola fields I was hoping to photograph weren’t blooming yet. Another place I had heard about was closed for the day too.

So, after driving all that way, the main plan was basically a complete disaster. 😂

But somehow, the wrong turn ended up being the best part of the day.

Sometimes you don’t need to know exactly where you’re going. You just need to keep going and see what you stumble across.

Maybe some wrong turns are actually the right direction. 🌾

#fujifilmxe5 • Araluen Botanic Park is at full bloom 🌷 The tulips are looking so healthy and fresh, and honestly, this is the perfect time of year to visit.

For the last two years, I’ve visited on weekends, so I’m really glad I made it there during the week this time. It wasn’t crowded, no waiting in queues, and there were so many more opportunities to take photos without having people constantly walking into the frame.

Adult tickets are $30, with different rates for children, pensioners and others.

And yes, all these photos are straight out of my camera and, as usual, every single one was taken by me. 😂

So… can I officially say I’ve mastered self portraits at this point? Lol. I’ve been doing this for the past 6 years, after all.

I also realised something recently, I haven’t really come across many creators (In WA) who have consistently been doing things like self filming, solo travel and creating everything by themselves for this many years.

Maybe I really have mastered solitude. 😂

At this point, I genuinely don’t care what people think. I’ve mastered it unapologetically. 🫶🏼

#Fujifimxe5 • I still remember the first thing I did when I first arrived in Perth, One of the first places I photographed was the iconic Blue Boat House and the rainbow containers at Fremantle. Both of those pictures ended up going viral. 📸

Fremantle is known for its beautiful heritage buildings, Fremantle Markets, Fremantle Prison, great food, and plenty of amazing cafes. In my opinion, the weekends feel much more lively compared to weekdays.

If you’re visiting Perth, make sure you put Fremantle on your list. There’s so much to see, explore and photograph. 🤍

The appreciation I have for art installations, museums and exhibitions has been growing day by day.

Looking back, I realise I admire and notice these spaces so much more than I did a few years ago. Maybe it’s because I’ve started looking at things differently.

“there is nothing you need to do in here” by WHAC is one of those installations that makes you stop and simply take everything in.

Adam, Alex and Josh are absolute geniuses for coming up with something so unexpected transforming an ordinary Perth CBD office space into an immersive wheat field.

🎟️ “there is nothing you need to do in here” is a ticketed experience, so make sure you book your session in advance through the WHAC website.

📸 All images are straight out of camera (SOOC) no colour grading.

#fujifilmxe5 •Some everyday moments from Perth 📸

Ever since I got the Fuji, I’ve been spending less time editing and more time actually observing what’s happening around me.

You can have the most expensive camera in the world, but if you don’t have an eye for things, the camera isn’t going to help you.

Am I perfect? Absolutely not. 😂

But this camera lets me focus more on composition instead of constantly worrying about editing. And because of that, I feel like I’m noticing and capturing more of those little everyday moments that I would normally miss.

I think I’m at a stage in life where I want to spend more time capturing moments and less time editing them.

I still haven’t fully explored the video capabilities of this camera yet. And honestly, I’m very happy with Sony and will most probably continue with Sony. Hahaha.

For now, I’m just enjoying seeing things a little differently. 📷

Is it finally time to say goodbye to York and start finding some new, unique places to explore this spring? I guess so. 😂

August and September are such a beautiful time of the year in Western Australia. Canolas starts blooming, wildflowers begin popping up everywhere, and the countryside just looks incredible. 🌼💛

I’ve visited York at least six times over the past four years, and honestly, I still enjoy wandering around its streets. But at the same time, I can’t help feeling that the town hasn’t changed or evolved as much as it could have.

I’ve actually been digging into this a little more, and I found a few reasons behind it. Personally, I think York has the potential to be one of the best country town destinations in WA, but there’s definitely room for more to happen especially when it comes to creating new experiences and giving people more reasons to keep coming back.

Anyway, putting all of that aside… I was back in York again a couple of days ago for my 6th visit, wandering around the streets, looking for little moments and, of course, taking way too many photos. 😂

Here are some shots from the trip, taken on my Fujifilm X-E5.

No colour grading. Straight out of camera. 📸

So… should I finally retire York from my spring travel list, or do you think there’s still more to discover? 👀.
