This is my 8th autumn of capturing this family! It started with Lucy’s announcement and now the Roger’s are a fabulous family of 7!

I loved being amount the beautiful mountains in Salt Lake City. Holy cow they took my breath away the entire shoot. I loved seeing these siblings love each other. I am truly in awe of all of the families I get to interact with during this crazy time of year.

It is definitely a baby year. I know so many amazing people that are becoming parents or adding to their family. All these babies are so beautiful.

This shoot with Grace and Shane was so fun! The fall colors are stunning. There is still light until 7ish, and autumn is giving us the green light to wind down.

Whismy! August Rush! Summer nostalgia!🌻

The fine line between August and September feels thin this year. The Summer Season is always so hard to say goodbye to. It is the friend that brings the silliest and spontaneous side out of me.

It makes the mornings where your exhausted body is a subtle reminder that you had a REALLY fun day behind you, with another day full of possibilities ahead.

The Nortons embody this so well. Everyday is something new. It is a dream for something better, and everyday making it a reality. 🍓

Oh I love this family so much! The sister, girl dad, and soccer mom energy is unmatched.

We spent time in the mountains watching an August thunderstorm roll across the Great Salt Lake, and hit us while we were eating out in-n-out burgers outside.

One thing that I love most about photography is seeing my friends be the best parents, and their mini me’s come in with the same spunk and sass. 🦋

One of my favorite shoots, in one of my favorite spots. This park is the first park I took my babies to. On Sunday mornings in the summer there is a basketball league, kids and family reunions happening, and a rock dam being built in Little Logan River.

The Nelson-Lester family loves to spend time outside watching their kids explore the world with their monster trucks and bikes. 🏍️

Also, what is better than a @le_croissant_co pastry for breakfast?

Summer ending is a beautiful reminder that the kids don’t ever get smaller, and by the end you got to tangibly see them overcome things you’d never expect. I just hope by next summer, my little boys still love to play with their monster trucks 🛻 too.

Summer visits home are so good for the soul. I am so grateful for the families I have met this summer passing through town.

I loved this morning shoot with grandma’s hand-quilted blanket. I don’t know about you all, but we are still trying to soak up all the summer mornings possible. 🛼🪁⛅️

The Raymond Fam 💕

This family is one of our neighborhoods most friendly and kindest. Jeanie can be found running with their family dog, or on a walk with any one of her children. Often times with their cat Tiger closely behind them.

Shanna and I have been dreaming up this shoot since last October. This family loves to boat all summer long, and all of them join in on the surf board with their parents. Side note, Shanna is hands down the one of the best surfers I’ve been on a boat with. What is better than summertime on the boat with the kids?

The Moore family is in a fun stage of life right now. Kids getting older, another new family member on the way, daughters that are your little friends, etc.

Life really can be so sweet. ☀️🚤🤿

When all the kids in your neighborhood turn eight it is bound to be a fun summer.

As a kid who moved 4 times by the time I was eight, one of my favorite things is watching the kids in my neighborhood grow up together.

Like most kids there are little disputes, but most of the time I get to watch what true friendship looks like. How they stand together. How they make up games together. It is so fun to see them grow up and I am proud of these kids for who they are becoming.

I love a Sunday morning where the coffee is hot, the kids are playing in the yard, and there is some space to chat with the person you are building your life with.

We celebrated a fourth birthday and a new family member during this shoot. Nothing is more sweet than a baby smiling at their big brother.

Congratulations to Rox on graduating from Oregon State University with a degree in Computer Science! During all four years at OSU, Rox worked at the university library, where their leadership team credits Rox with making meaningful contributions to the success and forward progress of the library and their systems.
