pride & prejudice

..but make it queer! but make it Paula & Lisa!!
I cannot put in wooords how proud I am of this project we finally got to bring to life a couple weeks ago! The past years i’ve been creating inspired by movies and books, and for years many of you had been telling me to create art inspired by pride & prejudice — look what we did!

We’ve taken these the morning of my photography workshop, “The Art Of Telling Our Sisters Stories”, which I got to hold at @schlosskalkhorst mid September! the morning before everyone arrived we snuck outside, just in time for the sunrise, and captured what was there. everything was so so perfect!! :,) how stunning is this garden? I can’t wait to show even more of this project, of course we shot inside the castle as well! It’s always such a reward to see these shoots come together after months of planning scenes, outfits, location, and timing.

shout out out to the dear universe for connecting us, this friendship feels so special and inspiring on so many levels, and I really can’t put in words how grateful I am to create art like this with my friends! wow!!

Paula and Lisa, my forever favorite people to work with and dear friends - thank you thank you thank you, I wouldn’t have wanted to do this with anyone else but you! 🤍

a special thank you to @schlosskalkhorst as well for hosting us and making this possible! this was meant to happen :,) by @capturedbyvivi

wedding day of Fiona & Rion

At beginning of this year I wrote down “photograph a queer wedding” on my photography bucket list for this year, posted it on my stories, and half a year later I found myself at this beautiful wedding on the southwest coast of Ireland — special thanks to Laura at @atlanticbayrest for connecting us, she’s the one taking care of this maaagical property, Atlantic Bay Rest! 🤍

I’ve never really been to a wedding, so this was completely new to me, both being there and photographing it, and it’s for sure one of my favorite memories of 2026. capturing weddings is truly so special, because what do you mean I get to capture and attend this vulnerable, special, joyful and intimate day of someone’s else’s life? what??

the day was filled with so much warmth and witnessing all the love — and by that I don’t just mean the love between this beautiful couple, but also the love surrounding them from family and friends — was heartwarming!! might sound super cheesy, but I really mean this. feeling so honored I got to be around all those wonderful people, capture this special day and attend the best party of the year!! THANK YOU <3

i know a place, where the nights are days 𖦹

the night after everyone left at our gathering in Sweden this summer, the mist began to rise over the lake. and, as one would do when faced with such absolute magic in nature, I sent my girls into a state of absolute chaos and hectic, frantically picking out outfits for them so that we could run outside again to make the most of the last bit of light and film left in my super 8. before I started filming, I grabbed my speaker and put on ‘wishing stone’ by @sarahjulia . the song had just come out that day and was with us the whole time we were down by the lake. it was already far too dark for the film i had in my camera, so I ran back up to grab my digital camera and meanwhile Lele decided to have a swim. i captured some scenes from land, much like the second clip in that video. but when I eventually joined her in the water and swam next to her I couldn’t resist but take my camera into the water with me.

i feel like my best work often emerges from a place of spontaneity and intuition. the moment I let go of any expectations and ideas I had in mind before and allow myself my heart to take the lead. i forgot about this footage for months, and just stumbled upon it some days ago. i can’t believe summer’s over now and im so glad i got to capture this magical night in Sweden, even though we didn’t find a wishing stone. man I wanna make moviesss this is magic by @capturedbyvivi

end of July it was finally time for another fairy gathering after pausing for a year. i made my way to the location a couple hours earlier than everyone else to prep our fairy realm deep in the forest, some friends joined for the final touches and then everyone else arrived. this afternoon was one for the heart. this time i invited children to be part of it as well, and it was the most beautiful and touching experience to witness. everyone loved having the little ones flying around, so caring, loving and joyful. this felt like truly lived matriarchy. we spent our time dancing, being, taking polaroids, laying in the moss, foraging, writing little fairy messages, stroking each other’s hair and simply having a magical time surrounded by the big trees, the fern and a bunch of like minded fairies.

it truly doesn’t take much to gather. sometimes you have to create what you wanna be part of. oftentimes we tend to wait for an invitation, but sometimes we have to be the ones sending them out. eventually people will come. ehm fairies!! and follow the silly little idea to craft some fairy wings, prepare a vegan picknick and dance in the forest. hehe. big thanks and hug to every fairy joining this fun adventure!! 💌 by @capturedbyvivi

you’re cool you can stay (please do!)

what do you mean my friends are becoming mothers? what do you mean I get to capture this stage of life? I honestly don’t have much to say except the fact that witnessing the women around me transitioning from maiden to mothers is the most precious, beautiful, fun, exciting yet slightly overwhelming feeling? aaaall the feels!! I can’t believe we have the power to bring humans earth- side, we’re amazing, portals truly. I’m so proud of you and I love what we captured in my little forest on a morning in July 🐞𖦹
