Temperatures are dropping, make a statement this season with your look. Dayfurs.com by @capturenoire
Stop filming everything from the same angle. Changing your camera angle can completely change how your message feels and help keep people watching. Wide shots. Close-ups. Side angles. Low angles. Each one serves a different purpose when you’re telling a story. The goal isn’t just to make your video look better it’s to use your camera intentionally to help get your point across. You may know a woman in tech by her title, but not by the problems she’s solving! Meet Martina Jackson, Founder & CEO of CaptureNoire (@capturenoire), a photo and video editing app designed to better represent diverse skin tones through culturally intelligent imaging technology. Her work sits at the intersection of technology, visual culture and inclusive design, exploring how tools like AI and augmented reality are shaping the way we see ourselves in digital spaces. She has already raised more than $120K in early-stage funding to support CaptureNoire’s development and growth. Beyond CaptureNoire, Martina serves as Senior Director of Public Relations & Communications at the Indy Chamber and is the owner of Drea & Co, a digital marketing and photography agency. A Biology graduate of Indiana University and a recent IU 20 Under 40 honoree, Martina brings a perspective shaped by science, creativity, communications and entrepreneurship. Hear Martina share more about the problem she’s tackling and how technology is helping her build the solution at: 🗓️ Tuesday, September 15 from 6:30–8:30 PM 📍 draft creative space - 1525 Prospect St, Indianapolis, IN 46203 Stay tuned for more speaker highlights! 🎤🎟️ Tickets available at www.embossnetwork.com. #EMBOSS #TechForImpact #IndianaWomenInTechWeek #WomenInTech #Indianapolis by @capturenoire
