✨ A million reasons to celebrate ✨

We did it. Together, this community raised $1,000,178 at the 48th Annual Festival of Trees Gala to support Seattle Children’s Autism Center and the Uncompensated Care Fund. A sold out room, a whole lot of heart, and a shared purpose made it happen.

It has been 25 years since this event last reached the million mark, and feeling the room lift as we crossed it again is a moment I will not forget. Every table, every bid, and every hand raised carried real hope for families who need it most. With this year’s results, the Festival of Trees has now raised more than $17 million for Seattle Children’s.

Serving my second year as Gala Chair moved me in a way that is hard to put into words. This night reminded me that generosity is personal and that people show up because they care. To every volunteer, donor, bidder, guild member, sponsor, and friend who poured their heart into this event, thank you for making this possible.

This was a night worth celebrating, but even more, it was a night I’ll hold close. Thank you for filling the room with so much heart and reminding me what community can do.

As the 2026 @mariners season comes to a close, this one feels a little bittersweet. It may not be ending the way we wanted, but that is part of baseball. You ride the highs, take the tough losses, and keep showing up. ⚾️

This was my fourth season watching the Mariners since moving to Seattle, and somewhere along the way, baseball became one of my favorite parts of living here. What started with catching a few games turned into becoming a season ticket holder, but more than anything, it gave me a lot of memories I will carry with me.

But some of the best memories were never just about what happened on the field. They were about the friends who sat beside me, celebrated the wins, suffered through the losses, shared a lot of laughs, and made those nights worth showing up for.

Four seasons in, a lot of memories made, and a deeper appreciation for the game, this team, and the people I have shared it with.

25 years later, we remember.

I’ve been fortunate to stand at the 9/11 Memorial and walk through the Museum, taking in the names, the stories, and the weight of what was lost that day. It is an experience that stays with you.

Today, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage shown in the darkest of moments.

Twenty-five years later, the memory of September 11 still carries a weight that time has not erased.

May we continue to honor those we lost, remember their stories, and never allow that day to fade from our collective memory.

New York in the summer moves fast, and for a few days, so did we.

We walked everywhere, hopped on trains, ate well, had a few drinks, changed plans more than once, and somehow let every quick stop turn into an entire evening. Nothing needed to be a big moment. We caught up between stops, laughed at things no one else would understand, and kept finding one more place to go when we should have called it a night.

I came home with the kind of tired that only comes from doing too much and still wanting one more night. 🗽🥂🌆✨

Sometimes you need to step away for a little while. To slow down. To recharge. To get out of the routine and make space for the people and moments that matter most.

These past few days gave me exactly that. A chance to reconnect with people who mean more to me than they probably realize, to laugh a little harder, stay up a little later, and simply be present.

Life moves fast, and it is easy to get caught up in everything that needs to be done. I’m grateful for the reminder that making time for the people you love is never time wasted.

Some friendships just pick up where they left off.

No matter how much time has passed or how many miles are between you, there are certain people you can reconnect with and immediately fall back into the same rhythm.

The late nights, the nonstop laughter, the stories you’ve told a hundred times, and the new memories made along the way are the things you end up holding onto a little longer than you expected.

I’ve been reminded lately how grateful I am for the people in my life who make the miles feel small.

Halfway through the year, every flight has felt like a quiet reminder: I kept moving. Coming home to Seattle always makes me pause and think about how much has changed, what it took to get here, and everything I am still building.
Big projects ahead. Bigger goals on the horizon.
I am proud of this chapter, especially the parts that required strength no one else saw. And I know, in time, it will all be worth it.
