What do you guys plan to wear to the Dokomi??
👀👀👀
Two and a half months until the con and I still don’t know who to cosplay 😭
I’m super undecided because I have plenty of cosplays to wear and honestly they deserve to be worn again
(for example Urbosa)
but I just work so much more efficiently when I have a deadline when it comes to crafting or sewing something new 💀
(the thing is I just have to start NOW in order to get shit done 🫠)

I will definitely make a Monster Hunter Cosplay tho,
not for the Dokomi this year but generally.
Always wanted to make one but it will be a huge project and it’s hard to decide which armor to make 😭
(I am just really bad at making decisions on gooood 😭😭)
Also dear cosplay fellas if you want to make a MH group let me know!
As already mentioned I work more efficiently when I have a deadline and on top of that a group that counts on me

Goddess of rot 🥀

And me? I am rotting as well.
Rotting away because i don’t get any sunlight here in the North of Germany 🫠

And on top of that I sit on a lot unposted photos like a dragon sitting on its treasure. It’s insane.
Why don’t I post more? 😭😭
Maybe because social media isn’t social mediaing the way it was before and I am using it less now because it is also rotting my brain 😂

But enough with this negativity; I wanted to share more of my Malenia cosplay because I’m still super proud of it
and despite the circumstances of this photoshoot @lusra_photo did work photomagic and I love how these photos turned out 🥰

Next project is Jude’s iconic dress from the Cruel Prince btw and I’ve got a photoshoot coming up too 🤭

It is always a huge delight to have a photoshoot with @buttershoots and I genuinely and wholeheartedly can recommend her if you want a photographer who’s invested into your vision and helps you with the planning of the project and is overall a genuine and nice person ❤️
Your in good hands here truly 🫶🏻🥰

We searched a while for a location and ended up here which is absolutely fitting in my opinion and I’m overall in love with the results 🥹

HOWEVER I’m glad that I could cosplay Mizora in human form before committing to her usual one and it genuinely made me realize that I simply don’t see myself in it.
It might change but at the moment not really 🥀
Sometimes it gotta be like that
On the other hand I have other plans and projects which are simply more important now ☝🏻🥸

The Guild authorizes you to hunt ⚔️

I am still super happy I got to be part of this amazing Monster Hunter cosplay group! However it was quite a challenge to hike this path in this cosplay but thank god I had the best assistant I could ask for! 😭🙏🏻❤️

Can’t believe I really made a MH armor and on top of that one of my favourite ones!! (My favorite one is Mitsuzune btw)
Feels unreal but I’m super proud 🥹

And huuuge thanks again to @reym3d for 3D printing the Helmet and Sword!!🫶🏻✨☺️

Hunting as a team just hits different. ⚔️

Last month we brought together a whole group of incredible Monster Hunter armors for this shoot — and I absolutely loved seeing all these different designs together in front of my camera.

For this shoot I used the NANLITE FC-120C as my key light, combined with two PavoTube II 30C as fill/accent lights, the Rapid 60 Softbox and the Power Bank Grip for a fully mobile setup.

Even if it would get a trophy for this ending (which I don’t think it has) I still wouldn’t have done it but i had a vision here and I’m happy with how @herbataphoto and i brought it to life! 🤍 (or not to life because well you know..)

And I genuinely don’t mind taking the uncomfortable route in video games. After all, I took the ladders away from pools in The Sims 2 back in the day. I know my business.

However tomorrow is finally the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave releaseeee!! I am SO hyped!! (I haven’t entered a non-hyped state even once since September lol)

Let’s just hope I won’t like any of the characters, because my cosplay plan list is already long enough as it is 😭🤞🏻

Technically I can’t really afford to take a break since I need to finish (or rather actually start) my next cosplay for the Polaris but I’m taking a little break anyway 😬

Unfortunately The Blood of Dawnwalker has also come out, so things will probably get a lot quieter around here and my cosplay productivity will likely stagnate for a while 😬
(So basically, business as usual, no surprise für anyone 😂)
I still have some (a lot) photos and if I don’t forget to post them you might get to see them too. We’ll see 😂✌🏻
Can’t wait to share more of my Arkveld armor tho!

However i’m just happy that I managed to clean up the chaos from my last cosplay and by the end of the year I definitely want to reorganize and change up my workroom as well.

Did you know that wearing MH armor skyrockets your dopamine levels? 💪🏻💃🏼🦖

I’m honestly so happy with how the armor turned out, but I’m also completely exhausted. I definitely need a break now before tackling the next project 😂

However i’m super grateful to be part of this amazing and talented group! Thanks to @shayrielcosplay for planning all of this had so much fun and such a great time with you all 🥹❤️

And of course a huuuge thanks to @doll.with.a.gun because without her I would have been completely lost! She was my biggest support for real 😭🙏🏻❤️ (she also took the second Video)

I can hardly believe that this cosplay has been sitting in my closet for almost four years. I never had the courage to actually wear it because I didn’t feel entirely comfortable in my body.
But I finally did it!! And I’m so incredibly happy that I managed to step out of my comfort zone 🥹
(I may come across as confident, but I have my own struggles too 🙇‍♀️)

I’m also just SOOO ridiculously excited about The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time!! It’s taking everything in me not to talk about it all the time 😭😭😭

I already have three new cosplay plans and I’m SO hyped about them!! 👸

Excited for Fire Emblem: Fortunes Weave, The Blood of Dawnwalker is releasing soon and I can finally marry my dragon boyfriend in Fields of Mistria today! To top it all off I’m also rewatching HxH. Life is good guys 😊🙌 (and i genuinely missed HxH)

I also went to Efteling in the Netherlands last weekend and wow!! It’s probably the most whimsical and adorable theme park ever. 🥹✨ (I just love theme parks!)

Besides that I started cutting the faux fur for my Arkveld armor because I realized I have 4 meters of fabric… I should be fine, even if I mess up 🫪

I don’t have much time left, but I’m still optimistic that I’ll finish it in time for the group photoshoot. 💪🏻
