My first ever home. I’m 58 years old, been working ridiculous hours for decades in crazy Australian heat & miserable cold & ice to finally, finally get my head above water. A big shout out to my amazing & supportive, hustling husband Pete HellwigFreeman who without him, this would never have happened. I’ve been thinking a lot today as I watered my dream garden, how many beautiful people I am grateful for. Your encouragement, having my back in hard times, & reminding me, I am capable. I can do this. Thank you 🙏…..Too many to name, but I hope you know how much I love & appreciate you 🥰😍 by @cara.freeman2

I put it to AI that I am currently freezing & why the hell did I make the decision to come to Canberra?!
The AI answer…

Canberra is known for being a cold city, and it's particularly cold right now due to a recent cold snap, with some nights dropping below -5°C, something not seen since 1965. Canberra's location within the Great Dividing Range, at an elevation of 606 meters, contributes to its low temperatures. Additionally, the surrounding topography creates a basin effect, trapping cold air and leading to frequent and dense fog.

Answer: I met Pete Hellwig-Freeman in 2021 & married him in 2025.

My awesome family live in this cold god-forsaken place.
