"I swim a lot… will that affect my Nanoplasty treatment?" Our Education Manager, Cara, breaks down what you need to know when working with frequent swimmers! Chlorine and mineral buildup can act as a shield, blocking the treatment from penetrating deeply. 3 steps for perfect results on swimmers: ✔️️ Perform a thorough clarifying wash prior to application. ✔️ Monitor hair porosity & adjust heat carefully. ✔️ Advise post-care pool protection (fresh water rinse + Perfect Ten leave-in treatment). A successful BKT Nanoplasty service starts with the consultation🩵 In this consultation, Cara works through the key pillars of a BKT consultation to understand exactly what the client wants from their service and what their hair needs. Chemical history — understanding what the hair has been through and how previous services may impact the treatment. Hair goals — in this case, the client was looking for a full smoothing result, with smoother, more manageable hair as the end goal. Achievable outcomes — setting realistic expectations based on the current condition of the hair and what can be achieved safely. Routine & maintenance — discussing their current home care, styling habits and what maintenance will look like after their BKT. Treatment plan — bringing everything together to create a personalised BKT journey for the client, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Because the best results start with understanding the hair first🌟 #BKTNanoplasty #BKTBeautyPro #HairConsultation #Nanoplasty #HairSmoothing by @cara_bkt

Follow Cara through a BKT service, step-by-step, from start to finish. This specific client had medium, wavy hair with multiple textures, including tighter curls underneath, previous straightening, colour-treated hair, breakage and frizz. During the consultation, Cara discussed: ✨ Her current hair texture, condition and concerns
✨ Her previous straightening history and desired result
✨ Her preference for a smooth, straight finish
✨ How often she colours her hair and recent colour history
✨ Her expectations around regrowth and ongoing maintenance
✨ How BKT Nano Pro can help support the hair with amino acids
✨ The potential for the service to slightly lighten the existing colour
✨ Lightly dusting the ends to help achieve a cleaner, more polished finish A BKT service should not be one-size-fits-all. A thorough consultation allows you to understand the hair you’re working with and personalise the service accordingly. With the hair assessed and expectations set, Cara guides you through each stage of the BKT process. This is more than a before and after. It is the moment she sees what her hair was always capable of becoming. After trying every mask, silk pillowcase and at-home solution, she finally experienced a transformation that changed not only her hair, but the way she felt wearing it. Smooth. Refined. Effortless. Because real transformation does not hide who you are. It brings you back to yourself. It starts here. @bktbeautypro by @cara_bkt
