Day 1 and Day 2 of the Bassmaster Strike King National High School Championship has led our team to fish on Championship Saturday. Only the top 25 teams out of 214 teams made the cut and I couldn’t be more proud of these 2 for grinding this week out to be able to fish tomorrow. We have had a 2 day total of 19 lbs 15 oz.
Last month I said that Lake Cumberland was the toughest lake they had ever fished but Kentucky Lake has topped that and we have had a tough few days of practice and really worked hard to figure this lake out!
Stay tuned for our results from tomorrow - no matter how it turns out we are grateful and will give God the glory for His favor on us in this tournament and for this opportunity! #proudmomcaptain🎣 by @caradwilson

Due to the boat danger of Lake Seminole with trees and stumps we were fortunate and blessed to have a way more experienced boat captain for the GBN State Championship Tournament at Lake Seminole. So I sat this one out and everything went great and the boat and motor stayed safe. Thank you @tannerhaddenfishing for your time and help this past week! @thomas_wilson2509 and @adamjaugstetter finished 2nd place with a 2 day total of 27.68 lbs! I was thankful to be able to be there Friday and Saturday to support our team at the weight ins! 🎣 taken in Big Jim's on Lake Seminole by @caradwilson

It was my pleasure and joy to watch these 2 this weekend grind it out on Lake Sinclair at the GHSA State tournament and earn a spot at the National High School fishing tournament next month up on Lake Cumberland in KY !
I am honored to be a part at this time of these 2 young men’s lives and I’m honored that they accept me as their captain! 🎣 taken in Lake Sinclair by @caradwilson
