🦉Here’s Lookin’ at You, Kid.... In Celebration of Owls! Especially a newly discovered Family of Five Barn Owls roosting on an apartment building’s Water Tower on the UWS of NYC! 🦉They do their nocturnal hunting in Central Park! 🦉 Gorgeous photos of them are capturing the hearts of Owl Watchers everywhere! 🦉🦉🦉🦉🦉
And these are some of “my owls”... porcelain wheelthrown, handpainted loves (I Love Owls! ...Whoooo Doesn’t)...
The Eyes have it.....
..in the twinkling of an eye.......
...more than meets the Eye..
...can’t take my eyes off of you...... So Many Songs! ❤️

🌞 Today from Bryant Park And Rockefeller Center… on a gorgeous but suddenly chilly October day today … under a perfect, perfect, perfect blue sky … an update on the Beautiful holiday parks setups in “my” NYC! 🌞
I have always wanted to be a vendor of one of the holiday booths at Bryant Park or Union Square… But they are way out of my price capability (& merchandise quantity)… The booths need to be manned full-time 7 days a week (& all hours) for the holiday months. The markets have gotten much bigger and host a fun wide variety of goods! The vendors are a mix of truly handmade & made (sourced) somewhere else & brought in… but no matter the source, it’s always a really wonderful festive holiday market time! And yes, Lots of hot chocolate and fun gift ideas! ❤️
Today’s views of Prepping the Landscaping of the two parks Landmarks for Ice Skating Rinks & Holiday booths!
Rockefeller Center & Bryant Park! ❤️

🌞 “Gold Dust, the Platter”
A collaboration with teacher & artist, “Pottery Dave” Gibson @greenwichhousepottery
Dave demo’d the 16” stoneware platter for our class... then gave it to me to decorate & glaze ... I LOVED doing that! 🌞 I finished the platter with porcelain trimmings & hand rolled coiled garden-y bits. Then after the platter was bisque fired, I glazed her carefully … Using one of my favorites… poured over, the shimmery gorgeous Cone 10 Rutile Gold High Fire glaze... 🌞 The Kiln Angels were kind... it sparkles in the sunshine 🌞
