Flag football is growing fast, and @syzmikheadgear saw an opportunity to rethink the protection athletes wear.

The X7C+ is the first flag football protective headband with 3D printed lattice padding, built around an FRD lattice printed in our material EPU 45. The lattice stays flexible and breathable during normal movement, then responds under sudden impact to help absorb and spread force.

Using Carbon DLS™, Syzmik could tune the structure zone by zone, putting protection where it matters most without adding unnecessary bulk. That approach helped the X7C+ earn a 5-Star impact rating from the Virginia Tech Helmet Lab.

How thin can an elastomer go and still perform?

We put EPU Pro 50 to the test at 0.6 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.4 mm, and even 0.2 mm wall thicknesses.

With 820% elongation at break and strong tear resistance, EPU Pro 50 gives motorsport teams more freedom to design lightweight, flexible gaiters, covers, seals, and other demanding elastomeric parts with remarkably thin walls.

See the material in action and put it to the stretch test yourself at MIA CTS, October 14–15 at Silverstone. Find Gary Miller and the Carbon team at Stand 3-31.

Built for one rider. Made one at a time.

@selle_italia Unica uses individual pressure mapping data to create a custom lattice structure inside the saddle, giving each rider a cushioning structure designed around their own pressure distribution.

Made with Carbon EPU 46 through Carbon DLS™ technology and produced by our partner @prototek_servicestampa3d di stampa, Unica brings together custom-fit design, advanced materials, and digital manufacturing.

The outside keeps the proven SLR 3D and Novus Boost Evo 3D shapes. Inside, the structure is uniquely made for the rider.

Every rider is different. Now their saddle can be too.

@selle_italia 's new Unica saddle is engineered around your own pressure mapping data, not a standard size chart. Same proven SLR 3D and Novus Boost Evo 3D shapes on the outside, a completely individual lattice structure on the inside, one rider at a time.

Produced with the Carbon platform by our production partner @prototek_servicestampa3d

Personalized performance, printed to order.

Great products start with people who see possibilities where others see problems.

From reinventing the running shoe to reengineering protection, comfort, and performance, Carbon-powered products have challenged what’s possible and made their way into the real world.

And behind every product is a team asking: What if we did this differently?
We’re looking for people who bring different ideas, experiences, backgrounds, disciplines, and ways of thinking to the table. You don’t have to fit a certain mold to make an impact here. In fact, we believe the best ideas come from teams that don’t.

If you’re curious, creative, and excited to solve problems that haven’t been solved before, there’s a place for you in what we’re building next.
