Not the style I've normally shared thus far. I wanted the texture and grit of the works to reflect the journey of faith. It's not clinical or sterilized. There's feeling. There's blood. There's death. There's life. There's something visceral that brings connection, that pricks the soul, that awakens the spirit, that can be felt in the body. There's spiritual warfare. You can feel it because you're a gate between realms for which blood has been shed.

1. Metanoia
2. Lion of Judah
3. Death Loses
4. The King

Sketchbook collage.

"We need to understand the role of art, and stop thinking about it as an option, or a luxury, or worse, an affection. Art is the bedrock of culture itself." - Jordan Peterson

"By a kind of alienating, fragmenting and focal attention, you can reduce humanity – or art, sex, humour, or religion – to nothing. You can so alienate yourself from a poem that you stop seeing the poem at all, and instead come to see in its place just theories, messages and formal tropes." - Iain McGilchrist
