Drop off your unused art supplies prior to the swap during Cats Luck operating hours OR come the day of the swap to drop off (between 9am and 1pm)!

You don’t need to bring supplies to take them! This is meant to be a way to get rid of the supplies you aren’t currently using and pick up something new to you!

2025 was a year of healing and being reminded of who I really am and what truly matters in life. A strenuous, yet beautifully vivid year I am grateful to have experienced. I am better for it, and will use all it has taught me in the new year to come.

A year with you ♡

Zach has opened up my world to so much joy and new experiences. With every step forward, they are at my side or pulling me along. I once heard that the way relationships begin sets the tone. We met while I was completely dependent on crutches. Zach would walk with me to and from work and supported me through my ACL reconstructive surgery. If that aforementioned saying is true, then a future full of support, uplifting adventures, and motivating one another awaits us.
With you, life is full of color.
Here's to many more years together.

In April...
▪︎ Zach and I saw Dean Martin at the Stone Pony with their dad and little sister.
▪︎ I started foraging again (wild chives shown)
▪︎ Dressed the cats up for that bunny holiday
▪︎ Worked on the apt and cuddled with my best boy
▪︎ Visited Zach's hometown and went for a long hike with friends
▪︎ Started identifying endemic life with the iNaturalist app to make walks more fun
▪︎ I passed 100° flexion with my knee rehabilitation
▪︎ Started brewing ginger bug sodas again
▪︎ Took Mochi and Miso for a few walks
▪︎ Explored a local nature preserve
▪︎ Made it all the way to AP on my own for the first time since my surgery (December)
▪︎ Grew cat grass for Mochi + Miso
▪︎ Started on our garden
▪︎ Made sure to enjoy the moment
▪︎ Got a job as a public worker ⛱️🎫

Sometimes you don't realize the dead weight because you're too used to aiming low. Grateful for the loss of what only limited me, as being formless creates the most potential and now I am truly free to find myself again. by @carbonsphinx

I had surgery on the 20th and they repaired my ACL, removed a bone fragment, and repaired 2 issues with my meniscus. I had to have a piece of my hamstring removed to be fashioned into my new ACL. My surgeon warned me the muscle spasms would be the worst of it...he wasn't kidding.

I'm not going to lie to you and say this is easy- it's far from it! I cry multiple times a day because my body is so sensitive to medication, the choice is often potential relief, insane amounts of nausea, or even serotonin syndrome which can be lethal....but honestly life never has easy been for me. It's always been something else and you know what? I'd choose enduring this pain and agony again and again over any of that. I know I am growing as a person. I used to be a ghost, barely noticed or existent except for use as a scapegoat.

Looking at where I am now, graciously thanking people for things they feel are so insignificantly small even if it makes them up uncomfortable. It is people like that, people who think they are doing the smallest of things that make the greatest changes.
I love my community. I love my friends. You are all such inspiring folks, and you inspire me to be the brightest, truest, version of myself who gives absolutely 0 fucks what anyone has to say about it.

If there is one thing I am to vow in this life, it is to look back on my death bed with no regrets. No one can convince me that anything could possibly matter more.

I'm walking, but still can't bend my leg. Surgery seems to be the 20th since my surgeon forgot to have me moved up. Lots of time wasted due to their negligence- but that's canon in the US. The cat fam is closer than ever, and I'm finding new ways to keep myself motivated as things continue to strain and demand me to continue evolving.
Anything that comes my way can be used to create the version of myself I strive for- it's all just a matter of perspective, diligence, and creativity. I'll be a whole new me again by next spring, just as I did last year.
It may not look like much to me now, but I've made enormous changes this past year and after all I've endured, I've developed a confidence in myself that grounds me. I've handled so much worse, and I'll never let myself become the version of me that welcomed it in the first place again. 🖤
