⏳️DEMIANA - GODDESS OF DEATH AND TIME⏳️
2/8
Demiana, despite her domain, isn't some evil presence as the fairytales like to spin, but she does not play folly to mortal souls. Few follow her, for most fear death, and she is not kind to her followers, begging for her power for mere more than genocides. Those mortals are often driven mad, or killed before they ever get far in their campaign of eradication, and Demiana is forced to look upon them once again, deciding whether to crush their tainted soul and add them to her hourglass, or to let them float amongst the others and find redemption in death.

I am incredibly happy with how Demiana turned out. Nothing is eternal and even her hourglass stomach will run out of sand eventually. This is also Onyx's deity! If you've seen any of my amble about him you'll know that he isn't going down the greatest path, none who follow death do. Will he go mad? Will he find redemption? You'll have to wait and see :)

A quick Nulle exploration lol because of their segmented exoskeleton like jaw it gives me some trouble in how to give them proper expressions especially because of their mandible sitting over their mouth, but it is a lot of fun working with it and trying to push what I can without leaving too little space. I also did some more colour theorying but its barely visible because the shadow is really harsh❤️‍🩹

(⚠️DEPICTION OF SA⚠️) Second animation ever! Though only the rose was legit animated so more like this is my first animatic! I'll be progressively doing these while I finish up BTS and get ready to properly release Asphodel's Cradle as a comic, no official release date yet as I havent even started any panels, i've been developing the side cast, dreading backgrounds and making small adjustments to my written plot so its cohesive and theres no holes in the logic lol, especially with chapter 1! I want to give everyone a good first impression and not make it a story that will leave my long time followers and friends glazing something ass while new viewers get confused lmao.

⭐️WISHRIAN - GODDESS OF MAGIC AND JOY⭐️
1/8
Wishrian as a goddess is rather childish compared to her kin, often called a brat and is written in stories as an agent of divine chaos despite the importance of her role, after all, everything is made of magic. In truth she is clever, the smartest of all her siblings even, and her childish, lazy persona allows her to sneak away and personally look at the world she helps thread. Her robes and hair span infinitely, you'll get dizzy trying to find an end. While her siblings also take great care to look more 'proper' Wishrian revels in an abstract form, dancing on starlight as she weaves raw arcane into something usable for her life granting sibling. She knows what's happening to Aobos, but should she speak it out loud she would be smited by her sister, and if she so dared to stop that clouded force herself, her father's rules would tear her apart even when he's gone.

The gods all grant a member of the party a blessing, it's why theres 8 of them and why theres 8 members of the party, any guesses as to who The Wishmaker speaks to?

TW: a lot of blood (Sure hope this doesnt get removed but theres worse on this app so I think i'm fine)
I had too much fun doing this- Song is not one who you'd typically see comitting acts of violence against people, her, Yellowjacket, Onyx and Scarlet only fought a dragon once, never people. Ghost on the other hand is a literal criminal, Sukri is an indifferent kid and Nulle and Jaclyn just dont really care about murder. After killing a big group of bandits (there is more than 4 of them just out of sight) Song is... a bit off put, meanwhile Ghost gleefully loots bodies with disgusted looks from Jaclyn and Onyx. Scarlet has already prances off to clean his fur at the closest water source you wont catch that cat dead with stained fur.

🐈‍⬛️🎵Scarlet🎵🐈‍⬛️
The master post of the entire crew!!! I genuinely had so much fun making everyone I was all giggles and smiles every step of the way I love them all so much more doodles and goofs will come. My beloved children who come from all over one continent❤️❤️❤️ also yes Scarlet clocked the homosexual aura around Song and Jaclyn before even those two did he is a highly perceptive cat who also hates Jaclyn cause her curse makes her reek of wolves which are predators to wild lynxes lmao. He also hates Onyx for smelling like literal death Scarlet's entire perception of someone is solely based off of how they smell and act towards him, YJ and Song being exceptions because Song rescued him and she told Scarlet to be nice to YJ.

🌸🦋Song Faraletti🦋🌸
Song is here! He dress and sleeves are very inspired by flower petals with the gradients while her fans look like butterfly wings, she also has a cherry blossom hair piece and I couldnt be happier with her design as a whole she is gorgeous and I love her. Her outfit as a whole though is based off of belly dancers. Song's story has not changed she still harbors immense guilt over losing her brother swearing she could have done something (she couldnt) and all the same body issues about being chubby, but with enough bottling anything is possible! Im so happy everyone is done theyre my stunning little dysfunctional rainbow family they get better I promise. Also something I'm doubly proud of is all the diversity they have I hope everyone can see themselves in at least one of my characters whether its their personalities or designs :)

🩸🌙Jaclyn Cadin🌙🩸
I had so many songs I could've picked from you dont wanna know. Jaclyn regardless is here and blood red in colour now! Really helps hide the blood spewing from her nose when she turns yknow. I had a thought for a long while about giving Jaclyn a cane during the end of her arc, as she would get shot in the leg and the curse can only heal so much so fast. It didnt quite make much sense though accelerated healing would clear up that gunshot really easily so instead I opted for the better option of giving her a disability earlier by the werewolf that bit her literally crushing her leg with it's bite (human teeth are STRONG. Make them sharp like a wolf and that is genuinely terrifying) and while the curse had made the healing faster it never could quite fix it as her femur malunioned and left her with a limp. Backstory backstory she runs away and hides in Hilœywylsh for 2 years cause the kingdom is closed off they dont know she's a noble nor do they care.
