‼️The Kearny community came out strong at our "Protect our Children" emergency rally last night‼️ Yesterday morning, an ICE kidnapping took place right out front of Kearny High School. Students were outside at the time and were exposed to the incident. Kearny high school students, KHS alumni, parents, and our brothers and sisters from other orgs showed up last night in full force! In the wake of escalating ICE abductions in the Kearny-Harrison-Newark area, we demand more from our local leaders to ensure the safety and security of our children and families!! by @cardinalxcollective

Still think these are isolated incidents? They’re not. This week, it’s happening in 📍#Kearny #NJ.

But across the country, bystanders, family members, and immigrants rights’ advocates are documenting an escalating and dangerous pattern of ICE operations on a near-daily basis — and the footage is raising urgent questions about public safety, constitutional rights, and systemic oversight.

Infuriatingly, in recent incidents — like the one shown in this reel — children have borne the brunt of ICE’s cruelty. And violence.

Here are other recent incidents involving ICE abuses which have been captured on camera:

📍 LONG BEACH, CA: Video footage shows federal agents pinning 40-year-old U.S. citizen Ricardo Gonzalez face-down in a gutter after striking his e-bike with an unmarked vehicle. Witnesses and family state agents tased him twice and handcuffed him behind his back while he screamed that his arm was broken.

📍 HARRISON, N.J.: Bystander video taken outside a library playground captured agents forcefully separating a father from his screaming children. During the scuffle, crying kids were dragged away—knocking off their shoes—and a young boy was shoved onto the pavement near live traffic.

📍 NEWARK, N.J.: Inside private detention centers like Delaney Hall, systemic medical neglect and hazardous conditions have sparked widespread hunger strikes, court filings, and congressional demands for oversight. Cases involving unanswered medical emergencies, heat-induced organ failure, and denied prescription care have drawn national attention from legal advocates.

As public documentation grows, I keep asking who is holding ICE accountable for these repeated abuses in our communities?! 🤯🚨

Not only do children have to fear school sh**tings in the United States, but now they get to fear armed agents. ARMED AGENTS are stopping and interrogating children in our community on their way to school. ARMED AGENTS are threatening children on their way to school. @northbergen @mayornicksacco @township_of_northbergen @northbergenpolice @govsherrillnj @mikiesherrill @robmenendez4nj @senbooker let’s all talk about it. Let’s talk about how you will stop and protect the children in our communities from being traumatized on their way to school? Let’s talk about what resources are being provided to the student body to help cope with trauma induced by the multiple ice raids taking place in their communities?? Do you suggest the children of NJ begin carrying around their birth certificates? Let’s actually talk about it. PARENTS, DO NOT LET THIS BE THE NEW NORMAL FOR YOUR CHILDREN. SPEAK TO YOUR CHILDREN’S SCHOOLS! CHILDREN DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS. by @cardinalxcollective

Hi friends, a family we’re supporting is in dire need of your help! Valery’s husband was taken by 🧊 in the beginning of this year, leaving her on her own to support her two young daughters. Her husband, Jhan Pierre, was the main financial support and since his abduction, Valery has been working tirelessly to raise her children, support her husband from outside detention, and keep up with bills. Jhan is still in detention, currently afflicted with an illness and rapidly losing weight. He is not getting the medical care he needs and he’s rapidly losing weight. Currently, Valery is on the verge of a second eviction since her husband was taken. Like so many working families impacted by 🧊, Valery has been in constant survival mode and deserves to have stability and safety in her life. Over the course of this terrible crisis, we have gotten to know Valery and her daughters well. She continues to keep the faith and stay strong for her little ones despite countless adversity. Join us in coming together as her community to support Valery during this incredibly difficult time for her family. Any amount you can provide goes a really long way. 🤍 #fundraiser #mutualaid #gofundme by @cardinalxcollective
