I love this display so much. To obtain both cards you had to beat Pokemon Research Lab members in a card game during various tournaments. Also the aesthetic is very specific, if you were at Nintendo world in 2005 you'd understand 💤

This book has become a bit popular lately along with the cards that came with it! I finally got my hands on the whole set and wanted to share the great Himeno artwork inside. This book was released to teach, I believe, adults how to play Pokemon before the TCG was even out. The glossy copies of these cards, which came out prior, came in a corocoro comic. So, these are the second "versions" of the first card ever, pre-dating base set no rarity.
