I have somehow wandered into a room of the lost and found.

What I discover in the stead of dust and decay is a sweet scent of forgotten pages and pleasant comfort.

Whatever once was is now antique wood and porcelain resting underneath sheets of pearl.

I move to pull back one ever so softly, only to learn that I am not alone in this cozy little place.

Standing before me, within the delicate frame of a century-ol' mirror, is another soul with as much quietude as my own.

And as the sunbeams trace the curves of her hair, a quiet understanding begins to settle over me.

"You have found me" I say, but I am also already aware that the words escaping me are only half the story.

"No my dearest, you have found us both," the mirror answers with a kindness I could never have found in another.

How strange it is that a warm cup of tea brings more comfort to the mind than most things in the world.

As I prepare a little hut for my cup with the palms of my hands, everything else goes utterly quiet.

In an instant, the chaos of the daily turns to calm, and I find myself wandering freely in that safe space.

Other than these simple moments of peace, I wish only for my tea to never reach the bottom.

Then I wonder how loud and inconvenient life is outside of this cozy little home I have built.

Alas! All good things must come to an end, so I let out an invisible sigh and set the cup aside.

"Until next time," I whisper.

Come spring, the leaves begin to blanket every surface of the earth. The petals unfold one after another, revealing dusts of gold hiding in the heart of every flower. And just as the fields are painted with lavender, tulips, daisies, and roses, life colors our experiences with joy and laughter.

But before all of that, some things rot away in the crisp air of autumn. Among fallen leaves of pale yellow and brown, worms fill their bellies and enrich the soil underneath with a purpose for new life. Such is the cycle of death, decay, and renewal. Such is life.

Now let's talk about the gaps between seasons. You see, one doesn't just go to sleep in autumn and wake up to spring the next morning. All these shifts happen gradually, taking the time and care needed to process the old and give birth to the new.

The same happens in life. Change is bound to happen, but there are always moments of pause that allow for rest and contemplation. They urge us to think over the past, learn from it, and then let it drift away into distant memory. Not only does this leave us wiser, but it also creates space for the next chapter.

With that in mind, let's take a moment to examine what's no longer serving us and how we can move past it. Have a great Sunday!

It has been a night without an end and the town seems to be under a spell still. The 10 of Spades says that exhaustion lingers in the corner of every room, but all of that will be whisked away by the sun that is preparing to rise.

At the moment, the scene is set in blue. It makes the heart feel a little nervous, hollow even, but the heart knows to trust that peace is not out of reach now. Anything can happen, including something good. This is the moment right before dawn — this is the blue hour cherished by many.

In anticipation, a beautiful rooster bellows at the top of his lungs. "Wake up! Wake up! The darkness is departing," he announces to the weary townfolk. And despite their bones still aching from the trials of the day before, they'll now prepare to say goodbye to their soft pillows and seize the daybreak.

In this story, the townsfolk will do well to remember that the worst is behind them — that each experience, be it good or bad, is not just armor against the trials to come, but also a wake-up call for things they forget about life and people every now and then.

This town, dear reader, has been through a lot, but the future holds better experiences. I wish the same for all of us, as we navigate our own set of difficult times. Let's take the rest we need and prepare for another day with renewed strength and hope.

Some believe that the threads of life are woven into an intricate web, which we call fate. A grand idea, don't you think? It makes you feel like you're part of something big.

But at the same time, it can also make you feel powerless, because fate's generally seen as inevitable. That takes away the idea of free will, and the sense of freedom that comes with it. In other words, it snatches the illusion that we're somehow in control of an uncertain future.

But looking at this 10 of Hearts and The Wheel of Fortune combination, I wonder if fate isn't as far outside our control as we think, or that it's more than a script which has already been decided for us.

Maybe, just maybe, something about each of us shapes it or influences it in ways we don't fully understand.

When I look at this card, the first things I notice are the fixed signs: the lion, the man, the bull, and the eagle. I see them representing all of us as characters of this life, each waiting for our turn on the wheel. That's fate. That's what we think life will throw at us, depending on where the wheel stops on each spin.

But let's not forget the chalices acting as the spokes of this particular wheel. You see, chalices represent love, emotions, and the heart itself, and you know what they say: love conquers all. Now you see where I'm going with this? Fate doesn't call the shots alone.

Love, the strongest of human emotions, gets to decide how each spin, be it good or bad, turns out for us in the long run. So what I'm trying to say is, this life, our destinies, and the journey as a whole isn't necessarily set in stone. Our hearts have more say in our story than we believe.

Maybe that's why so many people say, follow your heart, no matter what.

So, let's take this week to reflect on all of the above and think about how we've been going about our lives until now. We may come to realize that our stories need more heart and intention.

Here we are, at the end of yet another week. But before we move on to the next one, the cards have something to say — a story, if you like.

A king, mighty and intimidating, can be seen bending fire to his will. He's not concerned about getting burnt at all; instead, he's entirely focused on maintaining control. He appears strong, unafraid, and confident as he makes the flames dance under his guidance. What do you think has empowered him to this point — his experience, his inner strength, or his unwavering faith in his own abilities? I think it's a little bit of everything. He has always been in control, and so it's ridiculous for him to think that his charm and force won't have influence. He also knows what he's doing because he has had years of practice. But while his highness tangos with fire, there's someone else I want you to meet.

A queen, soft and gentle like a rose, can be seen standing at the edge of a ship. She watches the raging sea without the slightest sign of worry. The way she nonchalantly holds a chalice in one hand and lets the other hang loosely by her side is proof that the chaos doesn't concern her in the least. But this makes one wonder: if she's not in control of the uncertainty around her, what keeps her so collected? I'll tell you what. She has lived through storms like this one too many times before, so the crashing of the waves and the howling of the wind no longer moves her. She has mastered fear, love, loss and more so what's another little storm against all of that?

Now the question is: which of the two rulers are you embodying at this point in your life — the powerful king of fire or the queen of the seven seas? There's something to learn from their stories so think about it for a moment and have an enlightening weekend.

Whether this is about an exchange of personal beliefs, playful acts of rebellion, or discussions about future plans, your approach to the matter will define the journey in unexpected ways.

Now, the trick with these "two wands" is in taking a mindful stance on the things for which you hold strong opinions. To you, it may be nothing more than an ordinary conversation, but it's important to remember that sometimes ordinary conversations can have lasting impact, so being intentional with everything you do at present will play a crucial role.

Seven years is a very long time, but it hasn't felt that way with tarot.

Looking back at who I used to be, picking up a deck of cards and studying the esoteric world was completely out of character for me. So to say that something led me to the cards and changed me would be an understatement. The transformations I went through run deeper than I can explain.

All I'll say right now is this: for me, tarot hasn't just been a tool to grow and help others do the same. It has also been a friend when people chose to disappoint me. So I thank God for giving me the mediumship I needed to understand myself, and to protect what needed my protection.

With that said, I'm forever grateful for everything I've learned through the cards, and for being able to see the world through a spiritual lens. Admittedly, I'm still flawed in more ways than I can count, but I'll keep doing my best.

Thank you all for being such a lovely part of my journey! I appreciate every like, comment, and reshare from you wonderful people. 💛
