Everyone saw our client on stage. Here’s what they didn’t see: Before the event, we coordinated logistics with the brand team and pitched a proposal on Johanna’s behalf, line item by line item. It was accepted. On site, we were the bridge between @johannafreemanhair and the brand, so she could stay fully present with the people in front of her. We pointed guests toward the booth and the fireside chats, and connected visitors with the brand’s recruiters, helping them reach their goal for the activation. When it was over, we supported break down, cleaned up, and sent the invoice right after. None of that is glamorous. All of it is care. Operations isn’t about efficiency. It’s about stewardship: taking good care of someone’s talent, time, and resources so they can do the work only they can do. What an event looks like from the business ops side 👩🏽‍💻 Earlier this week, @johannafreemanhair taught at @hairbrained_official, and we got to support her from start to finish. Before the event, we coordinated transportation, her stay, and logistics directly with the brand team that she consults with (can you guess who it is?!) 💚💚 On-site, we prepped her schedule for each day, kept communication flowing between her and the brand, prepared her teaching space, and captured B-roll so her content was ready by the end of the day. Afterward, the invoices were completed, so nothing was left hanging.
