the more i read this, the more it feels like a mission statement for me. my purpose on this earth is a simple one. cultivate the ability to touch others, and stay receptive through the process. there’s many forms in which something or someone can move you, and that feeling is the root of being human. To feel or to be touched by something is a reminder of our existence. The survival instinct to close our hearts strips that precious life force away. Nothing is ever worth that. Embrace the uncertainty in life. Let go, stay open and be a light for others. The light will make it’s way back to you 💫 by @carefreekey

Been thinking a lot about the idea of stillness and what it means to me. It’s so easy to get caught up in our own stories, that sometimes we break under the pressure of how we THINK we should be moving. Stillness is allowing me to find out what moves me the most. Life is always in motion. It’s okay to slow down periodically and carve out time for peace. Whatever that looks like for you, find it whenever you can. Those moments can bring light to the things that are actually worth knowing, like the difference between making a living and making a life. To my creatives out there, be still, be patient, your energy will be all the better for it ✨ taken in Denver Botanic Gardens by @carefreekey
