11th National Agroforestry Conference called and @ksm_organic showed up as one of the partners and experts in Agroforest🪴. by @carinah.13

From an application to a moment worth celebration.

What started with a simple application as an attendee, became a beautiful journey of learning, connection, growth and honor of being celebrated.🙏🏾

Innovation Week gave me the opportunity to learn, share experiences, connect with inspiring people and equip myself with new knowledge through the FUNGUO Masterclass.
The session and conversation added something valuable to my journey as an entrepreneur and innovator.

And then came a special moment of @ksm_organic being celebrated among the 5th Cohort of FUNGUO Investees.
Making the 5th year of Funguo innovation Programme and celebrating the 12th Edition of Innovation week Tanzania.

As the first Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) of @undptz , the expectations are high and the pressure is real but seeing this team rise to the occasion and prove why youth inclusion at the decision-making table matters makes me, as a leader, incredibly proud. We are truly on track to achieve our vision!

A huge congratulations to @carinah.13 through @ksm_organic for securing the @funguo_tz funding this cohort! Everyone in the ecosystem knows how tough and competitive the FUNGUO selection process is, but your grit made it happen. 👏

Massive respect to @imani_penza for his brilliant ‘Farm Like a Girl’ initiative through @shambadirecttz thinking beyond traditional limits to empower youth in agriculture was purely impactful and thoughtful!

To every single YAP member who showed up and pushed through the intense @innovation_week_tanzania : your energy and resilience proved who we are. Being the pioneer cohort comes with high expectations, but seeing us achieve these milestones confirms we are meeting the goal.

Get ready there are so many great things in the pipeline. UNDP YAP is just getting started! 🔥

5 complete days training at the Sustainable Agriculture Tanzania Farmer Training Centre @sat_kilimohai , gaining practical knowledge on local soil testing, local seed production, preservation, storage and agroecological practices across different zones of Tanzania.

Beyond the knowledge gained, I’m proud to have been trained as an Agroecology Facilitator—equipping me with the skills to share knowledge, support farmers and contribute to the transition towards ecosystem of sustainable and resilient food systems.👏🏾👏🏾

P.S. Don’t miss the last slide 😉 — the certificate says a lot about how impactful the training was.🌱

True advocacy is inclusive… It is not limited to digital spaces or audience with access to smartphones and social media.

Radio remains one of the most powerful tools for reaching communities directly especially farmers and all individuals in areas with limited access to technology. Through radio @ksm_organic ensures that important conversations on sustainable agriculture, innovation and opportunities accessible to everyone because meaningful impacts begin when no one is left behind.🎙️🌱

Yesterday, KSM was featured on @radio5tz , where we discussed the importance of organic and agroecological farming in building healthier communities, protecting the environment, and advancing sustainable food systems.

During the session, we introduced our mission and highlighted the impact of our work in promoting sustainable agriculture and green livelihoods. The engagement was highly interactive, with several listeners reaching out afterward to express interest in our products, services, and future collaboration opportunities.

This work is strengthened through strategic partnerships with @mviwaarusha and @ilesdepaix_tz, which have been instrumental in supporting community transformation and expanding our reach to more farmers across different regions. Together, we remain committed to promoting sustainable agriculture and building resilient food systems for a safer and more sustainable future.

We sincerely appreciate Radio 5 FM for providing a platform to share our work and amplify the message of climate-smart and agroecological farming.
