Look Mum… I’m in @djmagofficial 😲🤩

It’s an incredible honour to see my name alongside so many pioneers of the progressive scene, as well as a new generation of artists, while recognising the countless others who have helped shape and drive the resurgence of progressive house.

Being described as someone at the leading edge of new prog is a huge compliment and I’m incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to bring my own style to this genre.

Having been in the music industry for a while now, it’s always been important to me to champion female representation, regardless of genre. It’s especially exciting to see more and more talented women emerging within the progressive house scene and helping shape its future.

A huge thank you to DJ Mag for the feature! One I’ll be proud to look back on 🙏🖤

Starting again rarely looks impressive while you’re in the middle of it.

After years of DJing in Melbourne, Carina Lawrence arrived in London and went six to eight months without a gig.

In this Artist’s Eye Chats episode, Rick looks back with Carina at the stretch between getting off that plane and becoming a regular in some of London’s biggest clubs.

Some moments in a creative life make everything before them feel connected.

For Carina Lawrence, one of those moments happened behind the decks at Drumsheds, when a memory of pretending to play to thousands suddenly met the reality in front of her.

The film explores the doubt, persistence and people behind that journey.

Thursday boat parties should definitely be a thing 🙌🏼💦

Two weeks ago we celebrated the release of ‘Rebirth’ in style, and it was pretty special having so many friends and people from the community there. You’ve all been part of the journey in one way or another.

Big love to the legends @jamie.infusion and @ziying.form for the incredible sets, and to @freefromsleep for the continued support 🩵

CARINA LAWRENCE. AFTER DARK. 🌙

We’ve been big fans of Carina for a while, so this one feels particularly good to announce.

After Rezident closes out Pier Pressure on Bournemouth Pier, we’re heading down the pier to Aruba Beach Club where Carina Lawrence takes control for our final After Dark of the summer.

From Printworks, Drumsheds, fabric and E1 to Junction 2 and Anjunadeep Explorations, Carina has been quietly building a serious reputation — sharing booths and lineups with some of our absolute favourites along the way.

If you know, you know.
If you don’t... you’re about to. 👀

REZIDENT → CARINA LAWRENCE

Saturday 12th September

Bournemouth Pier → Aruba Beach Club
One last one.

See you on the pier. Then After Dark. 💙 taken in Bournemouth Pier by @carinalawrence

From the studio, to the club, and into @djhernancattaneo set 🤯

What a journey this track has taken me on.

Happy release day to ‘Rebirth’ 🩵

A record that ended up meaning more to me than I ever expected. It came at a time when I was finding a new perspective, a new direction, and falling in love with music all over again.

A little reminder that sometimes you just have to keep going and see where things take you.

‘Rebirth’ is out today via @enormousmoments 🦋

Thank you for all the love and support on this track, now it’s yours to enjoy too 🫶🏼 by @carinalawrence
