2 whole years making dreams come true with @rebeccasweddings!! ✨

Being a Bridal Stylist (now a Master Stylist!) is the dream job I didn’t know I needed! My whole heart lives at Rebecca’s and with every bride I work with. It is such a gift to be part of these special moments, making life memories for brides and their group members, helping them feel beautiful, entering into their joy (and sometimes their sorrow- looking for a wedding dress can bring up a lot of emotions), and making brides’ dreams come true! Leading with empathy and celebration, bringing security on the journey of falling in love with a wedding dress. Seeing the look on a bride’s face when she falls in love with her wedding dress- something like the look I have on my face in the 11th photo- will NEVER get old!

Taking a little trip down memory lane with a grateful heart today, from the first time I went to Rebecca’s with @mietteanastacia, to when I found my dress, to helping my friend and fellow stylist @morganadvantures find her dress, to being there when my dear friend Katie said yes, and so many moments in between! Being a Bridal Stylist has helped me become more of who I am meant to be and I will forever be so grateful for the celebration, positivity, stories, and security Rebecca’s has taught me! I am a better person because of the brides I get to love on!

Here’s to many more years making magic everyday! 🥂

The best day of my life! Everything about this day was such a gift. From the people to the fall leaves to the dress to the flowers. We couldn’t have done any of it without our friends and family whose love was so palpable through the joy they shared with us. But the greatest gift of all was the beginning of my life with my sweet husband. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day and I couldn’t have asked for a better man to spend the rest of my life with. The moment we said our vows, I could physically feel the grace wash over me. Grace to love in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, until death do us part. Grace to love each other with a supernatural love. Grace to run to Heaven, hand in hand.

Let’s get to Heaven, my love. Together. ❤️

Happy anniversary to this sweet love of mine 🥰 the past year has been such a gift because of him. The Lord has been writing this love story that is better than either of us could have ever imagined! I couldn’t have asked for a more loving, humble, selfless man to spend the rest of my life with. On the good days and the hard days, I wouldn’t want anyone else by my side. As 4 years as a FOCUS Missionary comes to a close, all I can say is, “thank you, Lord, for letting me love your children back to you.”

It has been the greatest joy of my life to serve the Lord as His hands and feet on the college campus. I’ve had 4 amazing teams, each teaching me how to love others with heroic virtue and that my identity is beloved. I’ve walked with dozens of women who have burst my heart open to love more than I could have imagined possible. I’ve spent countless hours before the Blessed Sacrament, crying, laughing, begging Jesus to do what I could not. I’ve had a front row seat to Jesus changing lives- most of all, mine.

I moved halfway across the country and back and lived in states I’d never set foot in before. I shared the Gospel in ways I didn’t think were possible. I laughed and cried and sat on the floor with girls that made me realize my life was never just about me. I made some of my best friends. I met the love of my life. I tried to sum it up in 10 photos. I couldn’t. So I picked 120 instead.

These 4 years have been the best of my life. Some of the hardest, too. I’ve shed many tears from moments of heartbreak and rejection. I’ve encountered suffering in my life and in the lives of others. I’ve learned the meaning of “love until it hurts”. And in all of it, I’ve found Christ. I’ve found the Cross. And at times, all I’ve been able to do was beg Him to make me a saint, and to sanctify those around me.

It’s been the most bittersweet end- the life I’ve known is over, and I’m stepping out into the unknown. A great adventure awaits me, I am sure if it. And as I look back and feel a pang of sorrow, more than anything I am absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude for this life that the Lord has given me the absolute honor of living with Him.

My life has been forever changed by this mission, by the souls I encountered, and by the love of Christ which has been poured into my heart. To everyone who has been on this journey with me, teammates, students, mission partners, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are the reason Christ called me to this.

Here I am, Lord, send me.

So much joy in finally getting to be with this team!!! And finally sharing my placement!! I’m moving to Louisville, KY to be the Team Director at the University of Louisville!

As hard as it has been to leave Natchitoches and Northwestern State, there is such great peace and joy in the way that the Lord has fulfilled many promises and how He has led me so clearly to Louisville. I can’t wait to see how He continues to use me and my new team to bring souls to Christ! It’s a good thing I like bourbon and bluegrass because my new home is full of both 😉🤩 Please pray for this amazing team that I already love so dearly as well as our chaplain and campus minister! ☘️Ireland Mission Trip 2022☘️

One month ago I arrived in Letterkenny, Ireland with 14 college students, 3 missionaries, and 1 priest, unsure of what the Lord had called us there for. It was unlike any other mission trip I’ve been on, and yet, there I met Jesus in my own spiritual poverty and in the spiritual poverty of others.

Jesus allowed me to experience my own poverty in a way I haven’t in a very long time. He needed that opportunity to remind me that mission isn’t about me. It’s about Him. And without Him, I’m helpless. But with Him, I’m unstoppable. My prayer has revolved around “nothing escapes His providence” and if that’s the case, I want to receive everything from Him; the joys and the struggles. I was forced to receive love from others that I didn’t earn, that at times I didn’t “deserve”. Sounds a lot like how Christ loves us, right?

Most importantly, Jesus used this trip not only to remind me of my call to be a missionary, but to remind me that He *made* me to be a missionary. That every moment of my life has indeed led me to where I am right now. That this desire on my heart to “love His children back to Him” is nothing short of His plan for my life. That great things are not out of my reach because we are seated in heavenly places.

If Jesus took me halfway across the world just to tell me that, it was worth it. Lives were changed by this trip, the first of which being my own. This group of students, this team, the NET Missionaries, and the whole country of Ireland will hold such a dear place in my heart forever.

Here’s to the friends that became sisters 💕

Somehow everything is different but nothing has changed. Being all together for the first time in two years brought my heart to life in a way I didn’t realize it needed. We have added some boyfriends, fiancés, husbands, and babies (or really just one of each, for now 😉) and our hearts only grow together to embrace each new addition. We’ve been through so much together, more than any of us ever would have imagined. But what a blessing it is to be together and celebrate life’s great joys and the simple gift of friendship.

And that’s a wrap on year 2️⃣ at NSU!

It was a year marked with much growth, a few tears, and many many laughs. We survived hurricanes and snowstorms. We had 6:30 am bible studies, rodeos, a SEEK conference like never before, snowy rosaries, a wild mission trip, and lots of Denali snuggles. This year has been such a gift to me and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to be my family though it all. My teammates are truly my best friends and I don’t want to ever do life without them! I learned so much from them and from my students this year. There have been many challenges and obstacles to overcome, but I wouldn’t want to do anything else. I am truly living the dream!

Which is why I’m coming back for another year at Northwestern State as the Team Director!! Jesus has blessed me abundantly with this campus and I can’t wait to share the gifts He has given me even more as I guide and mentor young missionaries along with my students.

I couldn’t have imagined this is how my life would play out, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. Life with Christ truly is wonderful adventure! I am simply a pilgrim on the journey to Heaven and I can’t wait to see where else He takes me! taken in Northwestern State University by @carinamarchetti

My Holy Hours usually look a little something like this. I get comfy and allow myself to just be present with the Lord. I give Him permission to enter into my heart and life and I do my best to receive Him. .
As I enter into Lent, I feel Him calling me deeper into this simplicity, this sitting with Him, this letting Him have more of me. I’ve never given up social media for Lent before, I always came up with some reason not to. But I think all along I was just scared, scared of what it might reveal about my heart, scared I wouldn’t feel validated, scared I wouldn’t have connection.
.
This year, it’s time to do something that scares me and makes me very uncomfortable. Jesus is calling me out into the desert, so here I go. .
