It is always such a thrill to see what collectors do with my work.

These collectors in Palm Springs always get an A+ from me. They buy some of my most vibrant pieces—and then pump up the volume.

Tons of personality and never playing it safe.🌴

Provenance is everything when it comes to understanding the true value, history, and journey of a piece of art. 🖼️✨

A perfect example of this is tracking an artwork’s paper trail through official auction records. Swipe through to see the catalog cover from LAMA (Los Angeles Modern Auctions).

Inside the catalog, my painting, The Cello (1993), was documented and featured side-by-side with a piece by the iconic neo-expressionist artist Julian Schnabel.

This kind of official cataloging becomes a permanent part of an artwork’s history. An unbroken chain of custody and a prominent auction placement do more than just prove authenticity—it cements a painting’s place in the contemporary art market and establishes its lasting narrative.

Have you ever tracked the history or auction records of a piece in your own collection?

Every work has its own journey.
I’m honored that “The Cello” has found its permanent home in the Cafesjian Art Trust Museum collection.
Moments like these remind me why I continue to trust the creative process and keep exploring what feels possible.
Deep gratitude to everyone who has believed in my work over the years.
It’s a privilege to create pieces that find lasting homes and become part of a museum’s legacy. by @carischstudios

Tears rolling down my face at the shear magnitude of love and support I have felt and received during this competition. All of it! I feel all of it, and am sending my love and appreciation back to you 100 fold. Every single one of you!✨

I must mention now my supreme love and gratitude to my sister Tina. Without you none of this would have been possible. You have rallied the troops, you have lifted me up, you have been there every step of the way. And for that I am eternally grateful. I love you beyond measure. Thankyou Tina!!💖✨

One week to go. Blessings to each and everyone of you!! Thankyou💖🙏

YOU DID IT!!! 🤍✨

I honestly don’t even know what to say… except thank you.

Because of you, I’m headed to the SEMIFINALS!

So much of the creative journey is about chasing the next milestone that we forget to honor the ones we’ve already reached. I don’t want to rush past this moment.

This isn’t just my milestone… it’s ours.

Every vote, every share, every message of encouragement has carried me here. You didn’t just vote for me—you believed in me, my art, and this dream. That means more than I could ever put into words.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single one of you who has been fighting for me. I’m celebrating this moment with all of you, because we did this together.

Now… let’s keep going. ❤️✨
The little artist girl in me is smiling today… and we’re not finished yet. 🎨

Oh my gosh.

Thank you, everybody!

I am so grateful.

For those of you who have been following this journey from the very beginning-from airbrushing clothing at street fairs, to building my studio practice, to museum exhibitions, art fairs, and now The People‘s Artist-you’ve seen every step along the way.

You’ve celebrated the wins, encouraged me through the challenges, and reminded me to keep going.

Thank you for every vote, every message, and every bit of support.

I truly couldn’t do this without you.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this adventure.✨

Heather💖

“Unbridled”

This work marks the moment where restraint falls away and something deeper takes over.

There is a sense of velocity-energy building, breaking and reforming in real time. Structure gives way to instinct creating a visual language that feels both powerful and inevitable.

Paying homage to my Montana roots.

“Sky Quest”
Moving from the same intersection of western visual language meets contemporary abstraction. I began by researching textiles from western and southwestern regions for color insporation. From there, I could sense that this composition needed to be strong, yet I also wanted to leave the door open for something unexpected to come through. This is where the magic happens.

let me know what you think. I appreciate everyone’s comments.💖 by @carischstudios
