POSTS STORIES REELS

The Niki Lauda Ferrari 288 GTO made a public appearance this past weekend during @carsandcoffeeoftheupstate at @michelinusa HQ allowing us to finally tell our short 📖 story with it.

While in for 🔧 service two years ago we got a call from our friends at GTM & Son. They asked if we had time to come give this car a light polish and detail before it was returned to its very 👀 private collection. We were sworn to social media secrecy 🤐 for the time being but obviously the answer was “yes!”.

🤔 If you’re not familiar with the history of this car, it’s pretty fascinating. Production on the 288 GTO had already ended, but Enzo Ferrari agreed to make one final car for the 🏎️ F1 legend.

Who else got to see this literal piece of automotive and racing history this weekend?! 🙌🏻 🏁

It’s been a little while since we’ve shared anything from the shop, so what better way to get back to it than with this beautiful euro spec Ferrari 348⁉️

Finished in Tour de France Blue 💙 over a cream interior, this one came in for a multi-step paint correction, ceramic coating, and a deep cleaning of the leather interior.

As with most correction and coating jobs, the goal wasn’t just to make the easy to reach areas look good. 🔧 We removed the taillight grilles, badges, front grilles, and other pieces where necessary to gain access and polish and coat as much of the car as possible.

The Tour de France Blue really came alive after the correction, and the finished car turned out absolutely gorgeous. 💯

Definitely a fun one to have in the shop. 🇮🇹🐎 Thank you @gtmandson for trailering it down to us!

This is not a paid promotion, in fact, I paid @carismadetailing what I *thought* was a crazy amount of money to ceramic coat a car that only has enough aluminum and carbon to make about 24 tuna cans and one carbon wing for a civic. But it was WELL WORTH IT. Just gonna rinse it off and blow it with the leaf blower. Boom! by @carismadetailing

Fun times were had! 🏁 From track days and birthdays to spending time with awesome people, it’s been a great reminder that life is all about making memories with the people who make it worthwhile😀#hookedondrivingma #cmp by @carismadetailing

@drivenbyholly_ arranged a birthday convoy for a lil kid. Was super fun. Tag these cars. by @carismadetailing

I’m not trying to be funny and I ain’t getting paid. In fact, I paid them. Happily. Look what @carismadetailing did to my silly car. Watch the bonnet. Y’all better book them. Now. #violaparsifae by @carismadetailing
