Marking life’s most precious occasions with exquisite paper goods | Through the lens of a fashion designer & antique lover | A pinch of Dolce Vita 🇮🇹

The brief? An invitation for an intimate group of friends to celebrate a special occasion by travelling together through Italy on board of world's most beautiful train @ladolcevitaorientexpress and then enjoying some Dolce Far Niente at @borgosantopietro Together with @cassielamereevents we created an invitation that is inspired by the art of Diorama boxes, antique maps, tactile materials like linen and velvet, the many shades of green found in the Tuscan landscape and a sense of slowing down, of taking it all in and enjoying the moment. Every piece was crafted by hand, from the initial watercolor paintings to the hand-glued linen boxes. No detail was left to chance. Every celebration starts with a vision, a whole adventure built around one person, made to feel like nothing they’ve experienced before. With this one we wanted to design an entire birthday world around the host, sourcing the finest Italian craftsmanship to bring every little detail to life 🇮🇹 From concept to the smallest touchpoint of the week, each piece was as much a work of art and artisan craft as the celebration itself. Where would your dream Italian celebration take place? La Grande Bellezza meets Ruben's The Feast of Venus? We'll add some pink (the host's favorite color), let's give these two ladies a drink and we'll have a party that no-one ever forgets! Each layer - sourced from the original Ruben's painting - collaged and re-arranged to create a new scenery is assembled one piece, one layer at a time. The drama of the cinema represented by the blue curtains and the hands revealing the scenery underneath make for an invitation that is a little piece of art in itself.
