My beloved licorice bush died last week before moving, the first pic is in its honor!!! (i stalled to buy a bigger pot; it's my fault)

I haven't posted any actual photos in a while because i don't take enough photos apparently. these are very spread out photos across the past ~14 months in completely random order by @carl.ridlon

Found some photos from the summer of 2014 on my OneDrive i hadn't been on in years. While not great—7 & 9 are particularly bad—it's still decent for an 8 year old with no knowledge of photo theory. These were all shot on a Sony DSC-W800, which was my first camera.

I thought I'd share.

Also, yes, I know the proper use of dashes & semicolons over commas. Look at me guys– I'm so cool! Look at me!! (Apparently using dashes gets you accused of using AI; I gotta make it clear that I don't write with it, because I am cool, and awesome.) by @carl.ridlon

The moon has been near full all week. Since monday. I took these pics at 11:30ish (pm)

I like it when it's full. It's bright out, but it's still night so all's quiet. Just a monthly bonus to the most calming time of the day.

15-20 second shutter and 800 iso for a m43 at this brightness it's adequately impressive. The grain was bad but not awful either. The hot pixels were hell though.

I didn't feel like opening Raw Therapee to convert to jpegs for the 4th and 5th so they're blurry screenshots of the .raw

The 5th is a combination of their altered raws so idk when i didn't just do it then but it really doesn't matter

Instagram is going to compress them to hell anyway

The 1st and 3rd photos are the .raws converted to jpegs but i used Photoshop because the grain tool is better at taking out hot pixels than Raw Therapee. That's the only alteration i did. The 1st is 800iso at f/5.3 and 15 second shutter. The 2nd is also 800iso at f/10, and 20 seconds.

The 2nd photo was me bored during a 40 second exposure. The picture failed because I forgot to turn iso down from 800 to 400 but it's alright. The clouds were moving too fast for such a long sky shot as they scattered all the light around the moon wonky anyways. by @carl.ridlon

Couldn't bring my camera so had to use my phone but remembered Instagram has super heavy compression so it's aight, but even at a freakish 21 ISO most of my shots were overexposed and I don't feel like uploading those. I refuse to bracket on my phone because it takes up too much storage and bracketing shutter speed is annoying and takes time I don't have but obviously my phone has fixed aperture so o can't do that. >>Cutie patootie spider on slides 6 - 9 for the arachnophobic, just a warning(but there is a cat on 10)<< by @carl.ridlon
