In a world that often feels chaotic, I believe in creativity as a form of self-care and connection. My journey led me from the classroom, guiding young minds, to the canvas, where intuition and imagination take the lead. As a mixed media artist, mother, and lover of words, nature, art, and books, I draw inspiration from everyday moments. Through image and language, I aim to share light, softness, and truth—inviting others to keep creating, keep trusting, and let their own light shine.

🦋✨The result after a week of living without the internet, experimenting, and listening to what genuinely makes me happy. The feeling that I had to prove myself turned into the desire to improve myself.

🌸✨️ A pigeon, quietly observing the world. Familiar, often overlooked, yet full of character. Finding beauty in the ordinary.

Checking Values and Contrast

In Procreate, add a new layer above your artwork and fill it with black. Set the layer’s Blend Mode to Color. This removes the color information and lets you see your artwork in grayscale, making it easier to check the values and contrast. If the light and dark areas are clearly separated and the image still reads well, your values are strong enough.

🌸🐝 New artwork

Every piece starts with a simple sketch.

For this bumblebee illustration, I wanted to capture the joy of summer gardens, wildflowers, and those busy little pollinators that bring so much life to our world.

Swipe through to see the journey from sketch to finished artwork.

A special thank you to my favourite art teacher, @art_by_mirandameulenkamp, whose lessons and encouragement continue to inspire my creative journey.

This print will be available soon. taken in The Netherlands by @carlamodderman

The playful cat surrounded by flowers is a design from my own collection, and I’m very happy that this piece has now become wearable art.

✨ Available in sizes XS to 4XL
✨ Three color variations
✨ Soft, comfortable unisex shirts

Which color do you like best: charcoal, cream, or light blue?

✏️🐝🌸 Sometimes the best sketches start when you stop overthinking and simply let your pencil move. Hold it loosely at the end, stay relaxed, and let the lines find their own way.

blooming fully, abundantly, without asking permission.
