CJ Hendry‘s “Pastel” exhibition at @salon94 includes a huge pit of beads in the shapes of her favorite objects (🍌🌭🦄👟🚕🥑🌼💀💊🍤🦴 and more!) I also love the blue socks you get to wear to enter the pit!

For two memorable days trekking (and bushwhacking) through the jungles of Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, we had the privilege of spending time with two different gorilla families. Being just a few feet from these incredible animals was exhilarating and completely surreal.

Sadly, I don’t have photos of Chris’s two accidental gorilla interactions. First, a silverback pushed him out of his way on a narrow pathway, and then a young gorilla slipped on the steep hillside and grabbed Chris with both arms to catch himself!

We also spent time with the entertaining golden monkeys.🐒

We’re back from an unforgettable adventure through Kenya and Rwanda. We managed to see the Big Five (plus what felt like the rest of the animal kingdom).

Nothing prepared me for the awe of seeing these incredible creatures up close in the wild. It was amazing, humbling, and a powerful reminder that we’re just visitors in their world.

A huge thank you to Chris for planning this epic adventure. ☺️❤️

Can you hear me now? Because Brooklyn was calling last night. ☎️✨

Last night was my favorite event of the year - the @brooklynmuseum Artists Balll 🎉

I’m so proud of all the incredible work the Museum is doing to celebrate artists and show up for the community in such meaningful ways. I have enormous respect for @annepasternak, her extraordinary team, and all of the curators and staff whose passion and vision make the Museum such a vital cultural force. I’m also deeply honored to serve alongside such brilliant, engaged, and fearless Trustees.

A huge shoutout to the phenomenal events team who pulled off a truly unforgettable evening and made it a record-breaking success. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Also, it was such an honor to wear this breathtaking dress, designed and sewn bead by bead by the unbelievably talented @graehmealden. A true work of art in every detail. 🤍
