When I first came to UAB, I was terrified. Terrified I’d never make any friends and would struggle through school. I knew nobody coming in other than my roommate who I had never met in person. To say I was wrong is a complete understatement.

This school has changed my life. These people have changed my life. To KD, thank you for giving me such an honorable sisterhood that I can always turn to. To Becca, you have shaped my college experience in a way that will impact my life forever. You are such a blessing and I am so glad I sent that DM. To Hunter, thank you for guiding me through my walk with Jesus. To my girls, you are some of the most genuine, loving people and I can’t wait to spend the next 3 years and many more by your side! You are my future bridesmaids. To my GGs, dancing alongside you guys has been the best experience I could have asked for. You guys support and challenge me everyday and I am so so thankful. Lastly, to my parents, thank you for giving me that push to come here. Thank you for your endless support throughout this whole process, even when things got hard.

To the next 3 years, I can’t wait. 🐉 taken in UAB - The University of Alabama at Birmingham by @carleighebrown
