wow. this may come to a surprise to some people. to my friends & family who’ve heard all my complaints, trials, and tribulations with this project: I’ve decided “fuck it!” MY NEW EP, GROWING PAINS, IS COMING TO YOU JULY 26TH!! ❤️‍🩹

I started recording this EP back in 2022 with my good friends @eli_younger and Stefan Lakselvhaug (who remains a mysterious entity online), using what were my best songs at the time. We excitedly packed them into a tracklist & titled the EP based on what we thought the vibe was…little did I know the name of this EP would become a manifestation of the whole journey.

We started re-recording all the songs from scratch (despite already having love for the demos) in Jan 2023. Deadline passed with no tangible music, my fears of not being good enough seeped into my passion and all of a sudden it was Dec 2023 and still nothing release worthy.

I decided to drop the project entirely by Jan of 2024. Bruised, disappointed, and passionless, I moved on. That is until April 2024!! Thanks to my forever supportive parents, I was gifted a beautiful 4 track Tascam…inspiration struck!

Stef and I decided to release this project, imperfections & all, mastered through the tape machine. An ode to the journey this project put me through.

This EP made me feel everything good & bad: excitement, passion, fear, hurt & like giving up on music completely…so here’s a recording of a recording, a cut-out from my past; I introduce to you my growing pains over the last 3 years.
