An eventful September came and went in the blink of an eyelid. I seem to have spent most of it making up for a summer without Alessia. Kicking off with paying a stupid amount of money for tickets for a gig that I would have to endure for the love of my kid (thank god for mini wine bottles).

But was worth every penny to see how happy it made her.. and I did promise. @katseyeworld dominated the 1st half of September because of Alessia’s obsession.

Living on the black line is a game changer for London fun. 02 here we come!

Speaks for itself…. I even agreed to queue up 10 mins for this photo opportunity.

❤️

After this concert would happily never need to hear this song again! 😂

After the gig…. Toast with Nutella and Pringles combo after midnight. 🍞

Back home ❤️

1st day of year 6!!! 😱

First week back at school and I set her English Homework to write her own lyrics and rap to ‘The What’. Well she’s no biggie or Method Man…. Just yet. Needs a lot of work 😂

20 years in the same job. Now I need to work out what job I want to do when I grow up!

Solo raving on Chelmsford to see the amazing Jimpster, Atjazz and Fred Everything. 🎶🎵💃

Brunch with work mates..

Who then came raving after lunch…

To support my mate @dubble.s make his debut at @deepintosoulofficial. And what a debut it was. Top Drawer set!! 🎧

Mum and her favourite daughter time 😂

Family days out in London.

A lovely pre birthday home cooked meal. 🥩

Ok this wasn’t September but a lovely little birthday gathering on the 1st October. New month, new beginnings. Loving the October sunshine so far… reset month. ❤️

Officially 20 years today and most of my adult life working for Britannia Row kicking off in Wandsworth, then Twickenham and now Weybridge.

It’s been 2 decades full of everything and more. I’ve spent more time working than not and after every summer always want to quit and never quite could as something always kept me hostage. I now have Grey Hair, wrinkles and much less patience than when I started, but I have made some of the most amazing friends that are like extended family and have been lucky enough to see some fantastic gigs in my time through work.

Memories that will last me a lifetime. ❤️

A snippet from Tuesday 11th August’s show on @pointblankfm inspired by some recent events I’ve attended including @makinmovesuk x @soulquestrecords @setlistldn and @brunomars @anderson._paak @wembleystadium and @theroots Picnic

As always 2 hours isn’t enough to fit all the tracks I intend playing so missed out on getting a bit of @anthonyhamiltonofficial and @robertglasper but is a musical journey nonetheless.

Listen again on my @mixcloud Page. #musicislife 🎵🎶🎤🎧 taken in Point Blank DAB by @carleneaa

July was all the way busy and here’s why….. kicking off with Alessia’s sports day….. not even sure her team won but I did win the parents relay. Had to be done . She would never have let me get away with not. 😂

Playing alongside the @lee_the_captain and steerer of the ship @househeadldn London Calling in amongst some amazing selectors. Lovely little evening at the Horse & Groom. 💃🏽🎶🙌🏽

Footage stolen as always as I am the worlds worst at content. Thanks for this opportunity @lee_the_captain. @househeadldn big love always 💜

Off to one of the most wonderful dinners I have had the pleasure of eating….

@lilyraetait The Absoloute Host with the most treated some of us to a exquisite ‘Around The World’ menu. Fit for a Michelin ⭐️ The best food, company and England got into the semi’s. Win all round ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

@lilyraetait Superb in every way! ❤️

Family BBQ and summer farewell party before Alessia ran away to be a beach bum in Italy for 6 weeks 🇮🇹

My dad and a small handful of women in his life 🤣

Group happy birthday singalong for just some of the birthdays Lil Miss Alessia misses whilst she’s out bronzing herself. 🎂🎉

Cuz in attendance ❤️ @charlie_rascal_charles

Riding with me on my @pointblankfm show before she buggered off….

Solo trip to finish ticking boxes…

Food & Cocktails whilst people watching. Bliss 🍸

AAAHHHhhh and @brunomars with the added bonus of @andersonpaa (@silksonic ❤️❤️)

Coincidentally @carmen.pardal got the memo without realising and wore Red for the ‘Romantic Tour’ 🌹

A day at the races for more birthday celebrations with a little flutter and a little win 💷

Sisters 💕

From Ascot to Hackney.
Played at @soseventsuk for a very worthy cause. Well done Mags for organising and raising much needed money over they weekend 🇯🇲

Birthday hike for the coolest legend to walk to the planet… my kid @shardzmusic tried to kill me on her 26th Birthday but I am still here… no payout just yet (only kidding). Loved this walk. More of the same please…

Hey August… welcome.. a lot on the cards for this month….. will this formerly Red car be ready to start. I think so! 👀🤞🏽 by @carleneaa
