Hey, how's it going. Some of you know I was waiting to talk to a dietitian. I was sceptical, tho the appointment exceeded my expectations. They knew what histamine sensitivity was and understood that it made sense with an overactive immune system. I've now got more tailored information with some alternative recipes for pasta sauce, pesto and soy. I made the pesto (pictured), it was a delight and by far the tastiest meal I've cooked myself during this flare up and blandness. Tho I did make a mess making it, blasting seeds into every corner of the kitchen. I've been recommended some other tests to check my pancreas and malabsorption. And will have a follow up. I've also been trying to reduce histamine by reducing stress. So I sat in a massage chair whilst I got my hair done (pictured) and went paddle boarding, tho trying not to fall off might have been too stressful. Peace and love xc

I was going to wait until the end of the year to do a post on books I've read this year. I can't wait that long. I've got some corkers left in the pile, so I'll probably do another one later in the year.

These are just in the order I read them.

My favourite 3:

The Midnight Train. For its appreciation for all eliments of life, the advocacy of books and living, from the stunning perspective of death. With colourful, loveable characters.

The Artist. For its: feminism, deep understanding of emotional abuse, gripping characters, painting worlds with words, for the hope, and the smile it will put on your face. For fans of Kurt Vonneguts bluebeard.

The Correspondent. For what happens in between the pages, the hummour, the tragedy, the unfolding unanswered questions comming to light, the book recommendations...Spoiler alert ⚠️ For the weaved themes of motherhood and the way those tails lead to the treatments of the the roses 👌(I need to think about this a bit more)

They were all excellent.

And I just felt like saying the Travelling Cat Chronicles 🐈 remains with me.
