Robot BTS of this @kirinichibanusa beer wave 🦾🦾

Setting up a (beer) wave like this isn’t about luck—it’s about math. I’ve said this before, nothing is left to chance; everything’s intentional.

For this wave variation, @davidwma & @timothyhoganstudio knew exactly when they wanted the sun to rise, the wave to break, and the robot to pull back. Then it’s about doing some math—making millisecond-level offsets until everything lined up exactly as they envisioned it. But don’t worry, every try counts. We only had five takes—no pressure, just the nerdy stuff I love 🦾🦾🦾

Thanks to @davidwma & @timothyhoganstudio for having me on this 🙌🏼🦾 by @carlito.md

Some of you know me as Carlito—especially if we met through film. But in a parallel universe, I’m Dr. Carlos Peinado. Pleasure!

In this VoyageLA interview, I talk about the deliberate string of events that led me from a career in clinical medicine into the world of commercial motion control—and how that path is still driven by the same vision: bringing cinema robots into surgical education.

If you’re navigating your own unconventional path, considering that scary career change, or simply curious to read more, I hope this offers a few useful breadcrumbs.

No link in bio. You gotta search it as my main advice is be proactive.

Happy Birthday EVO!

Congrats to the @motorizedprecision team on a very successful first year of the EVO platform.

To celebrate, here is a reel of some of the automotive work I have created with it over the past year (what’s been released thus far at least).

EVO is proving to be a powerful tool and, in the hands of an experienced operator, is capable of producing high level motion control work within its limits.

Coming from larger robots and high speed tabletop work, it has been refreshing to take EVO out into the wilderness, travel across the US with it, and mount it in places that would not have been practical before.

Grateful to all the directors, DPs, producers, and crews who continue to bring me on board and made these shots possible. by @carlito.md

This was a mesmerizing view worthy of a reel.

Teamed up, once again, with @1983creative to shoot content for @sonypictures’ CinemaCon 2025 presentation @svstudiosla earlier this year 🦾🦾🦾
