Everything a 6 year girl could want for her 6th birthday - her closest girl friends, and a fun pool party!

This year, we were just planning to travel for Sophia’s birthday… until she said she wanted a pool party! So, of course, Mommy had to improvise and put together a special after school party with her 6 closest girlfriends! And, it was incredible!! 💕🎉 She truly had the most amazing birthday, and seeing her so happy made it all worth it.

My sweet Sophia, I pray that your life is always filled with love, joy, wonderful friendships, beautiful adventures, and all the amazing things your heart dreams of. May you continue growing into the kind, loving, confident, joyful, and God-fearing girl you already are! 🙏🏼🥹 You’re so deeply loved, and celebrating you will always be one of my favorite things, and my greatest joys! Long post alert! ‼️🥹

Thank you, sweet home. You were so good to us! We turned in the keys to our first family home. 🔑🏡

This move wasn’t a decision we made overnight. For quite some time, we’d been talking, praying, and planning for what our next chapter might look like. We knew we were ready for something different, for more space, new memories, and a new season for our family. But knowing you’re ready doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier.

There were so many reasons to stay… including that very hard-to-give-up low interest rate! 😅 But more than that, this was our first family home. ❤️ The home where we grew as a family, celebrated milestones, hosted people we love, laughed, cried, dreamed, prayed, and made memories that will stay with us forever!

Before leaving, we took a moment to pray over and bless the home for its new owners. 🙏🏼 We prayed that they will feel the same love, happiness, peace, and warmth within those walls that we were blessed to experience there. And just as we prayed over the home we were leaving behind, we’ve also prayed over and blessed our new home asking God to fill it with His presence, protect our family, and let it be a place of love, peace, laughter, family, friendship, and beautiful memories for many years to come! And then… we handed over the keys. 🔑🥹

Definitely bittersweet, but my heart is so full of gratitude. Grateful for everything that home gave us, grateful for the courage to embrace a new chapter, and incredibly grateful for our beautiful new home! 🙏🏼

Life has been full lately - work, deadlines, moving, renovations, parenting, and everything in between. I’m SO grateful we took this trip as a couple and with friends! A few days away reminded us that slowing down isn’t a luxury, it’s necessary!!! We laughed, rested, dreamed about what’s ahead, and simply enjoyed being together!
