Forty years ago, two aspiring audio engineering students met on their first day of class at @umasslowell.

Since then, one has gone on to make records with a laundry list of the greatest rock, hip hop, and R&B artists, earning over 30 gold, platinum, and multi-platinum records. The other has won 18 Grammy Awards recording world-class orchestras and operas.

Yesterday, our chief engineer Mark got to welcome one of his oldest and dearest friends, producer, engineer, and educator @carlnappa, to our Lowell studio.

From two audio geeks on a college campus to a room full of hit records and Grammys between them, talk about coming full circle.
