Mural at Hostel Autra Caussa, Switzerland for the Autra Art Fest. Such a wonderful experience to paint in the middle of the Alps, surrounded by nature and great people.
The alpine ibex, or Capricorn, is a symbol for Switzerland and for the canton of the Grisons. It is a majestic wild creature that dominates the mountains, and such, with its splendid antlers, it was very interesting for me to paint. These very same mountains that remain covered in snow half the year, are now all dressed in green and blooming with flowers, filled with butterflies of every color you can think of, accompanied by the sound of the wind through the valleys.
I am missing this place already, but glad that my painting will be there for a little longer.

Volando a casa

2021

Este mural fue muy significativo y representa la reintroduccion de la guacamaya roja en la selva palencana, donde había estado extinta por más de cien años. Con los esfuerzos de la sociedad civil e industria privada, nuevos especímenes fueron recolocado y prosperado y hoy vuelan las paradas en libertad.

Este mural está en la plaza del artesano de Palenque.

Los guardianes del arrecife

Mural elaborado en San Nicolás, Aruba, como una alegoría a la riqueza natural de sus mares y a los esfuerzos colectivos de salvaguarda Y protección.

Este muro es parte de la gran galería de arte urbano que decora las calles de San Nicolás, gracias a los esfuerzos de @arubaartfair y Artisa. Gracias a estos trabajos, se ha logrado descentralizar el turismo de la parte norte de la isla y además, se ha potenciado el desarrollo económico de la zona. Es un honor para mi dejar un mural de estas dimensiones (32 x 7 metros aproximadamente) qué ahora forma parte de una comunidad tan rica y multicultural.

Gracias también a @arubatourism por todo su apoyo y, por supuesto, gracias a todas las personas, voluntarios, vecinos y visitantes por hacer de este proyecto una experiencia maravillosa.

Sailing.

This painting was created aboard the Japanese cruise ship, the Peace Boat, during the Manzanillo/Vancouver voyage. It was a donation to be auctioned, with the proceeds going to support the victims of the recent earthquakes in Venezuela. Painted inside the Peace Boat, it conveys a message of hope, idealized through the little girl who represents humanity, innocence, and joy, surrounded by numerous fish that symbolize the multiculturalism of the races that make us who we are. Within this harmony lies a dedication to helping others, and the small wooden boat guides them, carrying the message around the world.

Although I had never painted on a vehicle in constant and unexpected motion, it was a unique and enriching experience. I returned home with countless emotions and memories, as well as the sincere friendship of wonderful people. Thank you so much for the invitation and for allowing me to contribute a little bit with what I love to do to this noble work you do around the world.

Está pintura fue creada dentro del crucero japonés, Peace Boat, durante el trayecto Manzanillo / Vancuver, como una donación para ser subastado y, con el dinero recaudado, apoyar a las víctimas de los recientes terremotos en Venezuela. Al realizarse dentro del Barco de la paz, transmite un mensaje de esperanza, idealizado a través de esa pequeña niña que representa la humanidad, la inocencia y la alegría, rodeada de multiples peces que, a su vez, son la multiculturalidad de razas que nos conforman. Dentro de esta armonia ha una entrega por ayudar a los demás, y el pequeño barco de madera es quien los guía, llevando el mensaje al rededor del mundo.

Si bien nunca había pintado en un vehículo en constante e inesperados movimientos, fue una experiencia unica y muy enriquecedora, por lo que regreso a casa con incontables emociones y recuerdos, además de la sincera amistad de personas maravillosas. Muchas gracias por la invitación y por permitirme aportar un poco de lo que me apasiona en esta noble labor qué realizan al rededor del mundo. by @carlosalberto_art

Sharing more progress moments from our #HillAtSimsMurals as we prepare to inaugurate these six murals today.

These murals mark the first chapter of 15 installations, including 8 sculptures, we are creating within this sanctuary of natural beauty, home to incredible flora and fauna. Set along a 1.6-mile path, this outdoor museum is curated as an “Ode to Nature,” inviting everyone to experience the beauty of art and the natural world together.

Inviting visitors to explore the park, clear their minds, reflect on nature’s stunning beauty and uplift their souls. And a park y’all must-see in Houston!
