Scrolling back and I found this #tbt definitely one of my favorites ones. At the #National #Cup battle between #universitystudents . With my @kannibal_surfboards art thanks to @ronaldartx photography: @vibrasmag #surf #waves #contest by @carlosd411
Tolasana (lifted lotus) I remember the first time i walked in to a yoga studio, and I heard take any comfortable sitting position, I saw so many people in Padmasana (lotus) and I couldn’t even put my knees down, my back was rounded and my lower back and hips in pain, everything bud confort. I think is one of the most challenging postures, at least it was for me. Well still, it takes long time for me to get there, but thru the uncomfortableness you find some stillness. It became one of my favorites postures, because I love how challenging it is and the battle between physical body and mind. . Meet me every Tuesday/Thursday 6:30a @yogalabs . . . 📸 @kadtavar at @yogalabs #yoga #padmasana #tolasana #power #mind #body #consistency #practice by @carlosd411
Such a cool trick to ride a 6’3” then stepping down to a 6’0” which is my typical step up and making it feel like my regular short board 5’10” by @carlosd411

The quad, goes fast 🌊🏄🏽‍♂️ Let me know your thoughts? by @carlosd411
Geeking over fins! So the set up that I use in this board, was the 2 side twin fins, which are a little bit bigger than regular thruster Fins, combined with a trailer that is smaller than a regular thruster fin set. The rake its more upright so more pivot, but at the same time since they are bigger, and I’m riding such a small board, it creates a good balance, drive, flow and pivot. I’m enjoying how it feels. Especially in long mushy walls, effortlessly gliding on the take offs and smooth lines through the rails. So great pick for this session. I Invite you to try things, don’t believe me! Bless in this endless summer! Get out there 🫶🏽 #surf #yoga 🌴 🌊 🧘🏽‍♂️ i&i by @carlosd411
I started yoga and surf around the same time, and this two have been my go to savers since! Yoga at the time wasn’t as popular at all, at least not in Venezuela or that’s how i remember it, in fact it was kinda taboo for a man to be on that space, but over time it became more accepted. So funny I offended felt ashamed among. But I did it because I wanted to learn meditation, low key heal some late teen early 20s teenage break up haha. That definitely helped. but surrounded by women in their 50+ and men on their 65+ and all so much stronger and calmer during this hard cord physical and mental journey, I immediately knew there was so much more than cliché poses and chanting. This place was in a gym for retired and active professors of the campus of the University my parents worked! Without much knowledge, or expectations became more interested, and invested in learning. So for my luck, later on I landed in the best yoga community I could ever imagine, walking distance from home, that now thinking back I was so lucky to have, amazing humans, many now incredible facilitators, we were guided by my dear and beautiful friend Judith Zanella, who I’m eternally grateful for all the knowledge and guidance. She has put so much work in service and forming community, she has a very close space in my 🫶🏽 Here I learn how to breathe move with ease and joy, but also mindfulness, intentions in our words and thoughts. she would also connect us to other amazing facilitators of a variety of workshops where I learn so much more and expanded immensely. received my Reiki attunement and became a Reiki practitioner, attuned by Alicia colina, Corina Tejeda and Jorge Acosta. Forever changed, and so thankful. Yoga has always connected me with incredible communities, and I look forward for more 🙏 by @carlosd411
Bless up for another day in this form 🧘🏽‍♂️🔥🏄🏽‍♂️ Sorry for this lyrics 😅 by @carlosd411
Over the years I’ve stack many fins and boards and now I’m mixing everything together, trying different combinations. But occasionally I forget what I was riding, the set up that felt the best, so decided to keep track of it, turn my clips to more of a vlog archive to tap back on to what was riding! But also using it as a free storage. Might open a new account for this, will see! Anyways living life! 🏄🏽‍♂️ by @carlosd411
In today’s sensei surf series, I paddle out with my Kailani model: click 2 with the performers thrusters in plastic construction for the side fins with the MR trailer! Conditions were 2-3ft fast, short break. Manage to get a few turns in! Overall, very fun session with friends, and lucky to have @d.m.scott_ flying the drone, so I have a mix footage 2 angles of some waves! So stocked! Hit him up if you need any filming 🔥 by @carlosd411
