Such a special celebration for a very special person!

We are so excited for our faculty member, Dr. Ashlyn, as she prepares to welcome her baby girl this fall!

Earlier this week, our students surprised her with a beautiful baby shower filled with so much joy and laughter. What a great way to celebrate this exciting new chapter. by @carlowot

What’s better than a post-fieldtrip ice cream?

Yesterday, our students had the incredible opportunity to learn from the fantastic team at Union Orthotics & Prosthetics. They explored the world of orthotics and prosthetics, gaining hands-on insight into how customized devices can enhance mobility, function, and independence for clients across the lifespan.

And of course, ending the day with some well-earned ice cream made it even sweeter! by @carlowot

This morning, we proudly hooded our Master of Occupational Therapy Class of 2026!

Academic hoods represent each student’s school, degree, and field of study through their length and colors, serving as a meaningful symbol of their journey.

More importantly, they stand as a visual reminder of the hard work, determination, and dedication these incredible students have shown throughout the program. We are so proud of all they have accomplished, next step graduation! by @carlowot

Next up we'd like to highlight the great work Amanda is doing for her Doctoral Capstone at Life'sWork!

Amanda has created a trauma-informed care training program for staff working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a vocational setting. This training was designed to enhance staff knowledge, confidence, and attitudes regarding the impact of trauma on clients, with the goal of fostering more positive and effective client-staff interactions.

Really awesome job Amanda, we are so proud of the lasting impact your program will have to make the workplace more inclusive! by @carlowot
