danced and worshipped before deciding
coz doubts instantly flooded my mind, acckkhh
swallowed my fears and doubts ~cringe~
took a deep breath and said yes,

and held on to @gioivanmendoza ‘s words,

Yebba’s voice and her songs just take you into her world… full of lingering aches and nostalgia.

Definitely another song choice that i genuinely love, wanted to share something that’s been living in my head lately. Hoping you’ll enjoy moving to it with me. 🥹✨

🌱🌱🌱

this was our video recital for the filmmaking workshop we took 🥹✨

💭 Nung nag-iisip kami ng concept, gusto lang talaga naming gumawa ng magiging remembrance namin sa trip na to habang naeenjoy pa rin yung bakasyon hehe kaya instead na gawing technical, inapproach namin siya na parang cinematic vlog na may kwento.

The more we learn about filmmaking, the more na lumalawak din yung curiosity namin, not just about film, but also about how dance and film can come together. Ang dami pa talagang pwedeng matutunan. Matagal na namin itong ine-explore, at kahit nakakatakot pa ring magkamali minsan, mas nangingibabaw pa rin yung excitement na sumubok at matuto.

Siguro ganun naman talaga sa kahit anong bagay na gusto mong gawin. Hindi mo kailangan alam agad lahat. Minsan sapat nang magsimula, maging curious at mag tuloy-tuloy lang. Basta sa bawat subok at pagkakamali mo palagi kang may bagong matututunan.

✨ Grateful kami kay Kuya Jobert Lachica, isa sa mga naging inspirasyon namin noong nagsisimula pa lang kaming gumawa ng dance videos (salamat sa tiwala kuys! 🤍)

At syempre kay Kurt Reyes, na kasama namin sa halos lahat ng projects namin bilang cam op at editor. Maraming salamat din sa mga students na patuloy na nagtitiwala sa amin, at higit sa lahat sa Team Brrrt (yieee! 😆), na laging game sa mga visions namin at willing ding mag-grow kasama namin.

Wala talaga kaming background sa filmmaking. Ang baon lang namin noon ay lakas ng loob, mga kuwentong gusto naming i-translate visually, at willingness na matuto habang gumagawa.

there’s something about a good film soundtrack and how it complements the story and somehow stays with you long after it’s over
