One week ago today, Hayden graduated from Pre-K, and it’s hard to put into words just how meaningful this moment is for our family.

Over the past five years, we’ve watched him overcome challenge after challenge with a determination and resilience that continues to amaze us. Seeing him walk down that aisle, happy, confident, and ready for what’s next, was a milestone we will never take for granted. Hayden: we are so proud of the kind, curious, strong, and joyful little boy you have become. Kindergarten is lucky to have you.

As we close this chapter, we are feeling especially grateful for everyone at Just Like Home Preschool. From the day Ezra first walked through their doors eight years ago to Hayden’s graduation, this community has been such an important part of our lives. The teachers and staff have loved our boys, supported them through challenges, and helped them grow into who they are today.

Just Like Home has been so much more than a daycare. It has been a second home, and we will always be thanksful to have been part of it.

13 years! I still don’t know how that happened, but what a journey it’s been. From Atlantic City, to living among safari animals in Botswana for the most insane honeymoon ever, to building a life with our two beautiful boys. Thank you, Just Like Home Preschool, for eight amazing, memorable years with both of our boys. We’ve been through so much together, including a pandemic and everything else life threw our way, and we are forever grateful to the teachers for always being there with us every step of the way.

Traveling with little kids and seeing things through their eyes is truly magical 💖 Hayden, you are the best travel buddy ever and I’m so proud of you! Exactly one year ago this little boy had open heart surgery and now wandering Mexico with his mommy.
