Two months into 40 and the 40x40 is still going. 😂❤️Bungee jumping made the list, came OFF the list, and somehow found its way right back on.

150 feet later, so glad it did. 🥹

I missed Konpa on the Beach last year and told myself there was NO way I was missing it again. 😂 A quick trip to Québec to see family, enjoy some konpa, dance, and of course eat some GOOD Haitian food (thank you, Tati Clanise! 😋).

I may be back at work, but I’m not ready to let summer go just yet 😩😂 Gotta keep the vacation vibes going somehow. by @carmelanin

To younger me: You were stressed for absolutely no reason girl! God had it the whole time. Thank you for always dreaming big, and pushing through every chapter you were afraid of. 💛

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a dancing girl. Called to the dance floor or not, I was showing up. Dancing has always been my happy place, my release, and the place where I can simply be. I think it’s also where I feel most untethered, free from other people’s expectations, and unconcerned with what anyone thinks. Even as a little girl, dancing taught me never to shrink myself. Some things change with time, but this isn’t one of them. Lord willing, when I’m old and gray, I’ll still be somewhere cutting up and hitting a mean two-step. 💃🏾

Shout out @roughridersclintonmd for last month’s trail ride. We had a time❤️💛💙

This started as a random thought, and somehow turned into me actually running a 5K 😭🏁

First I have to send love to my husband for waking up with me for those 4:30am runs 😅 real support system because who does that?? Thanks baby! ❤️
@liloasia , my bestie, stayed on me the whole time. Consistent check-ins, no excuses allowed 😂 I enjoyed doing this with you!
@marxustp thank you for putting me on to running with the Distinct Running Collective and for running with me!
@lovekristinaj thank you for pulling up and supporting me! 🫶🏾
@excusemykharisma I appreciate you willingly running in Philly at the same time since you couldn’t make it to D.C. That’s love❤️
@worklifewellness_ @kaekaeslife thank you both for all the health tips as I prepared!
Everyone who sent encouragement, thank you so much!

Happy Birthday, Husband! 🖤🏁 Cheers to another year, another milestone, and more memories to create. You swear I take too many pictures and videos, and you’re usually already scurrying away from the camera when I say “wait, one more!” 😂 But look at this past year! A ton of laughter, dancing, and moments we’re glad were captured. I’m never not documenting this life with you.

| I am my Ancestors’ WILDEST dream.|

It’s easy to feel defeated in this current social climate, but my ancestors worked too hard for me to dim my light or think any less of myself than the gem they dreamed me to be.
So while Black History Month is 365, this month let’s amplify and strut.
Strut your history. Strut your will to defy the odds. Strut yourself, unapologetically.
It is our birthright TO BE.
Happy ❤️Black🖤 History 💚Month!

The second half of 39 feels like a quiet build. So many perspective shifts and lots of reflection. In the spirit of evolution, I’ll never be this exact version of myself again. I’m enjoying holding space for her. by @carmelanin
