My little haul from the NYC Yarn Crawl from Thurs/Friday. I wasn’t really crawling because I really have no business buying yarn. However I have this Knitting for Olive merino yarn from a couple of years ago sitting in my stash and I want to make a sweater but the yarn by itself is thin I really needed Some mohair. I found out that Annie & Co and Brooklyn General both sell KFO yarn. So I ended up getting some of the yarn I needed from both and now I’m happy and excited to cast on a new sweater soon. I also got buttons, and thread to sew in the buttons and not pictured Stitch Markers. And because I get a tote bag every year. The Yarn Crawl tote bag.( I really like it this year) All in all a successful shopping trip! Also do you see the theme here…lol I’m obsessed! 💙💙💙 by @carmelnap

It’s the first day of Socktober and all@I can think of is cast on the Strawberries and Cream bag designed by @crochet_junction . I have been waiting for ever for this pattern to be released and I’m so excited! Should I start it or stick to the plan and knit socks during socktober and wait? by @carmelnap

Solo outing for the win! I finally made it to the CJ Hendry art Flower Market after missing the previous two. I was really a crocheter before I learned to knit. Stopped crocheting for many years and then with the modern crochet patterns that starting coming out in the more recent years. I fell in love with crochet again. More often than not I find myself crocheting more than I do knitting and I’m okay with that. I was busy this past weekend… another new addition to my Sophia Cowl collection.. The color is Capri blue to match my new fall coat. I now have 10 cowls, but I can’t stop here! I need to have an even bakers dozen! So I was looking at other colors of #clintonhillcashmerebespoke yarn to get for the next 2 cowls. I get so happy looking at these. Although it is a simple pattern, it works up very fast. I love how the cowl keeps me warm all fall/winter long! #sophiacowl by @carmelnap

I was influenced by @crochet_junction into making this bag as I had seen it on her page and YouTube and just had to make it the IHarper Carryall Bag by @yarnth3ory I used @hello_bobbiny Junior 3mm braided cord. It was a very quick make taking a couple of days. In fact the longest part was waiting for the yarn to arrive as i originally only had 1 skein of yarn and had to order more. But I used the bag today and absolutely loved it and now I need to make more in different colors. @crochet_junction has it right in making her bags in this yarn. It is so sturdy. #bobbinyyarn3mm by @carmelnap

Knit Night at the NY Liberty game with @harlempurls Thank you @rysasewsclothes for hosting another successful knitnight. I really can’t wait for the next one. The project was the perfect item to knit at the game and the fact that it came with everything you need to knit it was even better! Swipe left to see it all sewn up and finished. I have been influenced….🤣🤣🤣. I am anxiously waiting for @crochet_junction to release her pattern for her Strawberry Bag! So much so I just had to order the #bobbiny #bobbinyyarn3mm that she makes a lot of her crochet bags! This is a new to me yarn and can’t wait to create with it. Until then I will just admire what I have and try not to buy more widths or colors! by @carmelnap
