“Custom spray tan” gets thrown around a lot.

But what does custom actually mean?

At Carmel, it means I’m not just asking whether you want light, medium or dark and grabbing a bottle off the shelf.

I want to know what you want to look like.

I’m looking at your natural coloring and undertone. I’m asking what you’re getting tan for, what you’re wearing, how deep you want to go, how much time you have before you need to rinse and what you loved or didn’t love about previous tans.

Then we build from there.

Sometimes that means blending formulas to create the right combination of undertone and depth. Sometimes it means adjusting your rinse time. And sometimes the simplest formula ends up being exactly what your skin needs.

The best part?

We learn from every appointment.

We remember what we used, how long you developed and what you thought of the final result. So the next time you come in, we aren’t starting over.

We’re building on what we already know about your skin.
