I can now proudly announce that I have a LAW DEGREE👩🏽‍🎓👩🏽‍⚖️! Cheers to me☺️

I was born to SERVE JUSTICE & to EMPOWER WOMEN, who feel as though they are silenced in a society where stereotypes & stigmas control the narrative. My law degree has been a transformative experience, solidifying my commitment to GENDER EQUALITY & HUMAN RIGHTS laws. I am PROFOUNDLY ENTHUSIASTIC & EXCITED to start working towards creating a more JUST & EQUITABLE society for all. That’s exactly what I WILL DO mark my words. Miss Houston has arrived! 🤍🍾🤝🏽

God DID! God really said the world is my oyster. Brains and beauty! This is just the beginning of the many achievements and successes I will reap in this lifetime. Life is all about making your younger self proud and I’m doing just that. These 3 years studying law were not easy as the enemy put everything in my way to distract me from my end goal, but here I am holding my diploma in Bachelors of Law. Big C not the little one😌👩🏽‍⚖️ We up!#chosenone #law #blackwomeninlaw #womensright by @carmenhouston_

Just chilling with Neyo, hbu? I remember the days I was listening to Neyo when I was around 10 years old and now I’m a Guest to his shows. Being from a small & irrelevant town and getting to experience the life I do is the biggest blessing ever.☺️👑 #explorepage✨ #explore #superstar taken in O2 Arena London by @carmenhouston_

Anointed by nature not by choice.

#explore #explorepage✨ #carmenhouston #goddess

But if I had a choice I would still choose to be anointed.

No matter how hard it is.

God gives his/her strongest warriors the hardest battles.

Light vs dark

Light always wins.

God is greater than this world.

The world is full of hypocrites, fraudulent people and corruption.

The light exposes the darkness.

God’s people will always be set apart from the rest.

Their spirit radiates a winning glow.

Unshakeable, untouchable & undeniable.

Light by it’s very nature makes darkness extremely uncomfortable. The enlightened one. The chosen one. Light vs dark. The sun always rises. My freckles symbolise that I’m sun kissed. A blessed being. A light to this world. Don’t compete where you can’t compare. A whole different frequency to the rest. Like a fire my flames are impossible to put out. Try me and you’ll get burnt. 😘 #chosenone #light #carmen #houston taken in Hungary, Europe by @carmenhouston_

A Testament to the oppressed women: freedom is a birthright! May God expose & dismantle all systems/regimes designed to oppress & suppress women & bring immediate justice. I pray God gives me the platforms to champion women all over the world, to highlight the inequalities women face everyday. Women in Afghanistan cannot even speak or sing in public. It’s a gender apartheid & is against the ICHR. Free the women/girls in Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia and many more countries where women are controlled by men & the laws, which have been created by men. May oppressive men be brought to their knees by God for all the pain and suffering they have caused in this world. Good will always prevail!

Lord please give profound strength to these women, mothers, doctors, teachers, artists and may they always see hope through you and never give up.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
