WELL, TODAY IS A SPECIAL DAY YOU GUYS. FIVE YEARS AGO TODAY, WE OPENED THIS LITTLE SHOP WITH ALMOST NO STAFF, PRETTY MUCH NO MONEY, NO SAFETY NET OR BOARD OF INVESTORS, VERY LITTLE DIRECTION, AND THE LINGERING UNCERTAINTY OF COVID HANGING AROUND STILL. IT’S HARD TO PUT INTO WORDS HOW GRATEFUL CARMEN AND I ARE OF THE DIE HARD REGULARS, CONSTANT FLOW OF NEW GUESTS, THE KICK ASS STAFF PAST AND PRESENT, AND THE CONTINUED SUPPORT THROUGH SUCH SKETCHY AND JUST DOWN RIGHT WEIRD TIMES.
