BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN BUSAN
The given keywords were ’hooligan‘, ’motorcycle‘, and ’strong black garments carrying the mooc of CARNET-ARCHIVE. Bikers in wind and rain. The sprint, wet black garments, netting clinging to the body, oil-stained gloves, rusted chains and pants.
To render the oil stains and rusted textures in fine detail, no ready-made fabric was used, every garment and accessory was worked by hand through the PATINA SERIES. Treating the surface as a single picture plane, it is CARNET-ARCHIVE‘s long-held technique of hand-coating and building colour in many layers, as one would paint. After hearing that dancers and bikers would appear holding torches in a storm, deep red was applied in gradation across the black garments, as if burning.
Denim and leather set the larger frame of the motorcycle hooligan, while - given the summer concert — dense honeycomb mesh and netting were placed discreetly to keep airflow without breaking the biker mood.
Every item was made entirely in-house - from pattern to fitting, cutting, sewing, and the final patina dyeing and coating.

Hooligan과 Motorcycle을 키워드로 시작한 컬렉션.
더운 여름날의 야외 공연의 이미지를 상상하며 모래바람이 흩날리는 사막 속 ‘NOMAD[노마드]’의 계절성과 무드를 가져와, 뜨거운 아스팔트 위를 달리는 바이커 문화와 거칠고 반항적인 에너지를 지닌 ‘HOOLIGAN[훌리건]’의 이미지를 결합했다.
이를 ‘사막의 훌리건’으로 정리하여, 현대적이면서도 날 것의 미학이 담긴 ‘ASPHALT NOMAD [아스팔트 노마드]’로 정의하였다.
A collection that began with the keywords Hooligan and Motorcycle.
Imagining the atmosphere of an outdoor performance on a hot summer day, the collection draws on the seasonality and mood of the ‘NOMAD’, set in a desert where sandstorms drift through the air. This was combined with biker culture — racing across scorching asphalt — and the image of the ‘HOOLIGAN’, charged with a raw and rebellious energy.
This was distilled into the idea of a ‘Desert Hooligan’, and defined as ASPHALT NOMAD: a concept that carries a modern sensibility and the aesthetics of rawness.
