Link in bio for £5 first release tickets (limited time only) The planet is rotting, air is poisonous, and a Freddo costs your weekly wage. The apocalypse is here. The last people on earth gather at the Carlton Club to film television’s final broadcast: Live at the Apocalypse. This event is being produced in memory of Eliza Morris, one of Manchester’s best emerging theatre producers who passed away in 2022 just before the end of her contemporary theatre degree. This is not a Carnifølk event, but if it wasn’t for Eliza, Carnifølk may not even exist ❤️ Eliza adored world-building, producing camp and silly pieces with deeper nuanced messages around the rise of late-stage capitalism, individualism and, henceforth, the reduction of community. This project was her idea. She brought us all together and instilled us with confidence and love we still carry around to this day. In light of this, we want to produce her final piece for her. All proceeds will be going to Eliza’s family’s chosen charity, Mermaids, supporting gender variant and transgender young people.
