I built a consultancy.

Somewhere along the way, the work moved closer- inside the operating rhythm of the businesses themselves. The thinking that once met polite, glazed nods began to land as something else entirely: useful.

Grounded in real people. Real products. And what actually happens next.

Threads of the Future starts here.

Is Bluesky redefining our digital connections?

In a landscape dominated by platforms like X, Meta, and TikTok, Bluesky emerges with promises of decentralization, user customization, and an ad-free experience.

But beyond these features, we must ask:

How should we best invest our time and resources in digital spaces? Are we fostering genuine connections or merely engaging with algorithms?

While technology advances rapidly, it’s human connections that remain invaluable. Where are you finding the most authentic and impactful discussions today?

Join the conversation— check out my latest thoughts on networking, platform choices, and the future of digital interactions.

Driving home from JPMorgan after meeting with Gabrielle about the soft launch of MAV on September 10th — and I’m lit up.

This isn’t just an event. It’s a convergence.
Finance, creativity, women, entrepreneurship, and impact — all coming together at exactly the right time.

MAV is the platform we’ve been waiting for: a new kind of self-mastery for the next generation.
And it’s arriving as CARO Consulting enters its next evolution.

More to come. 🤍

The CARO Framework: 5 Phases That Turn Transitions Into Competitive Advantage

Most companies see renovations as business disruption.

I see them as value creation opportunities.

When a major retail property hired me during their renovation, everyone expected revenue to drop.

Instead, we used the "disruption" to:
→ Renegotiate vendor relationships
→ Test new customer experience concepts
→ Build partnerships with complementary businesses
→ Create anticipation for the "reveal"

The result? 40% revenue increase post-renovation.

The lesson: Resistance patterns reveal hidden value opportunities.

What transition is your business avoiding that could actually be your biggest growth lever?

“We’ve confused speed with progress.
The founders I work with aren’t challenged because they’re moving too slow. They’re challenged because they never stopped long enough to build anything solid underneath the motion.
Speed without structure doesn’t scale.
It disappears.”

The Monday Problem.

Everyone’s building two things at once — the thing that needs to work Monday and the thing they hope will still matter in three years. The tension between those two is where the interesting decisions live.

Founder’s Statement:

Caro, owned and operated by 💯 women since 2004, embodies creativity, intuition, ambition, healing, exploration, and love, traits I’ve held since childhood.

In 1995, I earned my degree in environmental politics, initially preparing for a legal career. However, my journey led me to discover my voice through music, performing for six years.

Transitioning to the tech industry in San Francisco and later joining the founding team of Von Dutch in LA, I witnessed the power of mass reach, deepening my sense of womanhood.

Alongside personal milestones like marriage and motherhood, my journey has been one of self-discovery. Working with brands and startups, I’ve shared insights on resilience, economy, marketing, and storytelling.

Today, I celebrate those who shaped my journey, thrilled by Caro’s women and clients’ success.

Excited to unveil @loveisthebridge8, merging feminine perspective, and continuing to innovate in ethical fashion, technology, wellness, prioritizing women-led initiatives.

Special thanks to my husband Steve, mom aka Dr Jean, April, Grace, Elena, Gabrielle, Pontus, Greg, Jessie, my clients, fellow consultants and spiritual gurus.

I could not feel more empowered this Woman’s Month, ready to share the knowledge and resources I’ve earned and to raise awareness and consciousness for businesses and the work inside them.

To the women who paved the way for us, and to those who will lead future generations. 🕊️

Thank you,
Caroline

For his first runway show, Benjamin Benmoyal wanted to share his passion for weaving — first by sending out specially made toy hand looms to his 300 guests, a feat that took six months to prepare.

His collection was no less ambitious. It involved the development of 60 different fabrics (previous offerings involved five or six different bespoke textiles). “I wanted to push the craft element to the maximum, but it’s an industrial craft, because we can manufacture and commercialize these fabrics,” he said backstage before the show. by @caroconsulting
