Allendale Folk Festival, Burning of the Wolf.

Folklaw tells that in 1904 a wolf escaped from a private zoo and was "terrorising" the farmers of Allendale, sadly it met a horrible end when it was hit by a train.

Poor wolfie.

Very proud of these little legs for carrying me around the Tour o Borders Sportive last weekend in the Scottish Borders. My first 100km and 120km! We had head winds and torrential rain in the first half towards Moffat but it quickly dried up on the route back to Peebles.

Penny Bun! A very exciting moment finding this little guy, one that's been on my wild mushroom bucket list. Can you see why it gets it name?

Last week, underneath a gorgeous waterfall in Madeira, my best friend @theworthyhawk surprised me by asking me if I wanted to spend the rest of our lives having adventures together. Apparently it's the first time I've ever given him a straight answer but a very easy one. Introducing The Worthy Finaceè 💍

Wow Madeira, you've exceeded all expectations 🌺 Hiking above the clouds on PR 1.2 to the highest point on the island, Pico Ruivo at 1861 m above sea level.

The first time I followed @t.carrick on a bike I nearly lost it to a river in the Cairngorms. Slight improvement on the second attempt riding together, just some sand dunes to navigate over. Fantastic weekend with my favourite welsh couple. Diolch @elanrhys and @t.carrick for having us 🥰
