This is a hard post to share.

After more than five years, my time here is soon coming to an end, and I still can’t quite believe I have to say goodbye to this place I call home.
I’ve never been much of a city person, but Montreal,
you were different.

Five years and a heart full of memories.

I completed my dream studies and built a career
doing what I love.
I worked with the most wonderful clients and partners for whom I’ll always be grateful.
I created freely, and was lucky enough to see my art find its way into the eyes of others.

I danced in every corner of the city’s music scene.
I travelled this marvellous land far and wide, always amazed by its natural beauty.
I learned to skate. It became part of my life, teaching me how to fall, get back up, and keep moving.

I fell in love, never imagining that long after, I’d have to heal wounds I never deserved to carry.
I faced some difficult truths about certain people, and learned to walk away.
I crossed paths with people from every walk of life, listened to stories, shared moments with strangers, finding humanity in the most unexpected places.

Each encounter, each experience, and each moment shaped me.

I cried. I laughed. I doubted. I hoped. I lost pieces of myself, and I found new ones.

But the greatest gift of all was never a place, a career,
or a moment.

It was the love I found in the people who walked beside me through every season.
The most incredible friends I could have ever wished for. They became family, and I learned that home is sometimes the people who surround you.

Here I am today.

Now I believe that it’s time to return, for a while, to myself and the reasons I first wanted to become a photographer.
To wander this mess of a world, connect with new cultures and communities, and try to find humanity again.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to visually share stories that bring us closer to one another and remind us why every life is precious.

Here’s to the next chapter. ✨
